Tap at Blind Tiger. Amber red colour with lighter orange highlights. Aroma is very fruity and loaded with mango, peach, and passionfruit. Very tropical and fruity. A kiss of juicy fruitiness. Flavour is also great, rich sweet citrus hops, tangerine and orange. Very low cohumulones giving is a soft bitter finish. Really nicely made IIPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Zeswaft (1183) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 9, 2010
Subdued citrus aroma. Flavor is lots of sweetness, assertive grapefruitiness, but disappointingly obvious prescence of alcohol for 8.7%. This beer definitely lingers. First the alcohol, then the sweetness, then the bitterness leaves the palate. Good marks for serving it to me in a pint and at happy hour prices.

Snifter at Tangletown. Huge, thick pillow head. Hazy deep amber pour. Smooth feel with some sour-sweet-malt to balance with a not too huge hopping. Tasty, smooth middle of the road Imp Ipa.

On tap at Brouwer’s Hopfest ’09. Pours an orange-copper with a small head. The aroma has a ton of citrus hops (some sweet mandarin and lots of grapefruit). Not much of a caramel malt counter - this one is definitely hop-forward, and even a bit boozy... but it has a full mouthfeel, and is really tasty. Good work by the guys at Elysian.
