3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
In short: A clean, semi-sweet and very fruity golden IPA. Good.
How: Bottle 22oz. Consumed fresh a few weeks after purchase, bottle forwarded to me by mcberko, thanks a lot Matt
The look: Clear golden body topped by a medium beige head leaving good lacings on the glass
In long: Nose is dominated by fruity hops that focus on tropical fruits such as mangos, pineapples but also peaches and other juicy fruits of the kind. Taste has all the same juicy fruit hops as in the aroma and they are all layered over a backbone of semi-sweet cookies. The resinous nature of the extra-fruity hops bring a sensation of fruit juice concentrate. Solid bitterness. Sweet at first, resinous fruity hops in the finish, overall well balanced. Another bomber that went down in record timeÖ and the real downside of drinking so much beer every night is I have a lot less beer the day after.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thanks to curly for the trade! Cloudy orange, loose white head. Smells - no kidding - like grapefruit juice. Clean, crisp citrus flavors, with some piney, resiny flavors as it warms. Just enough malt flavors to keep it interesting. Very good stuff

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Had to try this, since Iím such a fan of this hop - clear copper, sudsy lace - there is a light sweetness and tea-like character in the nose, but the zesty and tropical notes of the hops are most prominent - medium carbonation - flavor has a light, clean sweetness up front, but it is mostly dry throughout, especially in the finish - the malt backbone mostly stays out of the way, but provide a sturdy base for the potent, peppery/spicy hop flavors - quite bitter, but not in any way abrasive - finish is very dry - very solid IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy copper coloured body with an orange glow and a thick, two centimetre tall off-white head - nice. Aroma of peaches, bright grapefruity hops and yes, the best smell of all, passionfruit. Medium-bodied; Strong herbal and slightly grapefruity hops at first gives way to a good malt backbone showing some depth and then a mild hop bitterness at the end. Aftertaste isnít too complex with only a handful of light fruit flavours capturing anything more from the light herbal hop notes and the mild malt. Overall, a good IPA, but nothing more and nothing less - doesnít really compare to some of the best IPAs, but its definitely drinkable. Whether or not its worth searching out for, is up to you, but I wouldnít really look for this one at all if I knew better - there are far too many IPAs better than this one. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 09-June-2012 for US$7.25 sampled at home in Washington on 01-September-2012.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
THOUGHTS: This was really nice. It really showcased the hopsí flavors, but had enough balance to keep the hop bitterness from becoming overwhelming.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured an ever so slightly hazy, medium to dark, brownish, orangey amber with an average, off-white head that kept a nice sheet and left excellent lacing. The aroma had light to moderate caramel; moderate to heavy resin, grapefruit, passion fruit and other tropical fruit hops; and brown sugar. The initial flavor was moderately sweet, light to moderately acidic and lightly bitter; while the finish was moderate to heavily sweet, light to moderately acidic and moderate to heavily bitter. There was caramel, brown sugar, passion fruit, tropical and citrus fruit hops, a little resin hops, a little grapefruit with brown sugars sprinkled on it, and a little semi-dark bread. The medium body was sort of oily, slightly syrupy and then dry with fizzy carbonation and an ever so slightly metallic finish.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a bomber. Beautiful bright orange pour with a thick rocky white head. The aroma is gorgeous. Bright tropical fruit, grapefruit and some juicy fruit aroma over a lovely rich pale malt base. A touch of spice that rounds out the sweeter fruity notes on the back. Bright and zesty with a distinct whiff of peach as well. Awesome stuff.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from State Line, Elkton. Lovely pour, a deep translucent orange with a silky head. Fulsome nose, fruit coming through nicely but as a solid complement to the bright hops. Very smooth and full, creamy body. So sweet but at the same time subtle and balanced, no mere overdose of elements to create a mere effect. Superbly balanced and drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle.
The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of pine and orange in it, as well as some sweetness from the biscuit malt. The flavor is more complex. I get a lot of mango and apricot notes at first, along with some biscuit malt. As I drink more I start to get some peach and other tropical fruit. The bitterness level is low but the hop flavor is very strong. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
650ml bomber pours a golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is lemon, grapefruit and passionfruit with some caramel. Taste is grapefruit and lemon bitterness balanced nicely with a passionfruit and caramel malty sweetness. Meidum bodied with nice carbonation leaving a nice tickle on the tongue. This is a nicely done IPA that is highly recommended for a great tasting experience.
