22 ounce bottle. Labelled as Savant. Amber orange color with a rocky beige head. Mild citrus and pine hop aroma. Bitter complex malty hop flavor has notes of tropical fruit and pine hops. Nicely balanced with a big hoppy finish.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz. from PCC Fremont. Smells a little like spicy urine. Hops are way too sticky. Once the beerís in thatís all there is to taste and once itís gone thatís all there is left. Not terribly balanced but itíll do.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bright light orange clear pour with a little white head. Amazing floral hop taste, with a nose to match: extremely unique and floral (probably from NZ hops), very very juicy and nice, grapefruit citrus as well, rounded out nicely with a subtle but smooth carbonation and mouthfeel. This is a very good standard, drink every day IPA with a juicy flare adding unique complexity.

4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2013 Shared bottle at eTap on Howe St in Vancouver. This is very highly tilted toward hops. Citrus hop flavors predominate, but thereís a malted aftertaste as well. Maybe the best hoppy IPA Iíve ever had!
Fresh sample on tap at Maloneís in Vancouver. A turgid and murky brew of a brownish orange cast. Big grapefruit flavour here, though no oneíd ever mistake this for a grapefruit cooler. All beer here, friends. Still a great one!

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Excellent IPA. The nose comes in layers of stone and citrus fruit. Rich, yet refreshing and fruity palate of apricot and orange peel. Balanced hop finish. Great beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Long overdue to try this local. Pours a slightly murky golden color, moderate head, and a pretty big hoppy aroma with nice pineapple notes. Taste is moderately bitter with some nice hop complexity working in there along with a tasty malt backbone. Bigger and more complex beer than the 6.3 abv would suggest, which I always like. A nice local surprise that I should have tried long ago. Will definitely be coming back to this one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours an interesting dark orange color with an off-white creamy head. Striking hops that mellow, but there is a notable bitter finish

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap @ PW. Clear orange pour with an off-white head with good retention and leaving moderate lace. Nose is citrus and citrus blossoms. Medium body and light carbonation. Mango, tangerine, toast, lilikoi and grapefruit. Finish is more bitter A very nice drop and something out of the ordinary from Elysian and the PNW, although the balance is not quite right for me and I wouldnít call this IPA sessionable.

Bomber. Sweet passion fruit and citrus aroma with some hops. Pours cloudy amber colored with a thick of white head with good lacing. Passion fruit and some citrus to start with dry, hoppy finish.
