Pretty good IPA and neat label too. Deep orange pour. Slightly peaty aroma, but still a lot of fruit and pine. An especially sweet IPA lots of mango, orange, lemon, and other tropical goodness. There is a kick too – more floral than bitter. Pretty bubbly mouthfeel.

Bright light orange clear pour with a little white head. Amazing floral hop taste, with a nose to match: extremely unique and floral (probably from NZ hops), very very juicy and nice, grapefruit citrus as well, rounded out nicely with a subtle but smooth carbonation and mouthfeel. This is a very good standard, drink every day IPA with a juicy flare adding unique complexity.

22 ounce bottle. Labelled as Savant. Amber orange color with a rocky beige head. Mild citrus and pine hop aroma. Bitter complex malty hop flavor has notes of tropical fruit and pine hops. Nicely balanced with a big hoppy finish.

Pours an interesting dark orange color with an off-white creamy head. Striking hops that mellow, but there is a notable bitter finish

Long overdue to try this local. Pours a slightly murky golden color, moderate head, and a pretty big hoppy aroma with nice pineapple notes. Taste is moderately bitter with some nice hop complexity working in there along with a tasty malt backbone. Bigger and more complex beer than the 6.3 abv would suggest, which I always like. A nice local surprise that I should have tried long ago. Will definitely be coming back to this one.

Aroma is slight cirrus, earthiness and some hints of lemon grass. Body is a clear brown with a poorly retained head

Tap @ PW. Clear orange pour with an off-white head with good retention and leaving moderate lace. Nose is citrus and citrus blossoms. Medium body and light carbonation. Mango, tangerine, toast, lilikoi and grapefruit. Finish is more bitter A very nice drop and something out of the ordinary from Elysian and the PNW, although the balance is not quite right for me and I wouldn’t call this IPA sessionable.

(1pt 6oz bottle) Clear orange amber with a thick, smooth off-white head. Aroma of grass, floral notes, and fruit (tropical, mango, apricot, slight orange). Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Fairly strong sweetness, caramel and toffee, but strong hop bitterness dries it out; pine, grass; resiny; some vegetable and funky notes, too. A good IPA and a little bit different from most.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2013 On tap @GarricksHeadPub. Cloudy amber goodness with puffy off-white head; good retention and lacing. Big floral and fruit aromas - orange, grapefruit, mango, apricot - with a pine/resin bite over soft, earthy caramel malt backing. Lightly sweet, lasting but not overpowering hop bitterness. Medium-bodied and juicy smooth. Need to try again to be sure, but that first pint puts it among my favourite IPAs.

Bomber. Sweet passion fruit and citrus aroma with some hops. Pours cloudy amber colored with a thick of white head with good lacing. Passion fruit and some citrus to start with dry, hoppy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
