5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This beer is absolutely fantastic! Iím bummed it will only be available for a limited time. The big hoppy passionfruit aroma and flavor is well balanced with a substantial malt profile. Hoppy AND balanced is the way forward if you ask me. Elysian did a killer job with this one hop Nelson Sauvin wonder

4.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
For my preferences, this is a nearly perfect beer, with Pliny the Elder being the standard-bearer. As such this reminds me greatly of the Elder, though with a slight advantage of tasting less alcohol. At Parkway Tavernís IPA Fest, 28Sep2010.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Definite passion fruit aroma, then full hoppy bitterness in the middle. Excellent, everything I hope for in an IPA.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Deep amber, Fresh, piney, vinous hops and caramel malts mingle on the nose. Perfectly hoppy, spicy, earthy and fruity with a glorious bitterness. Peppery, easy-to drink, Orange oils and a little grapefruit. Peas? Nasturtiums? Sorry for the rather schizophrenic review.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2012 Very floral and citrus hop nose with a surprising malt backbone. Clear deep copper coloured body is topped by a generous and lasting white head that coats the glass with lacing. Nice caramel and toasted malt backbone supports citrus and floral hop flavours. Moderate bitterness keeps the sweetness in check but isnít overly strong. Medium body with decent SPF bubbled carbonation. Lovely palate. Enjoyed on tap at Alibi Room. Not re-rating, but in the bottle I didnít enjoy this nearly as much. It seemed a bit thin and one-dimensional. I would have rated the bottled version (from Liberty - Commercial in June 2012) as much as a full point lower.

Cloudy dark copper. Citrus. Unique spicy hops. Very hoppy in every stage from aroma to aftertaste, but balanced.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2013 On tap @GarricksHeadPub. Cloudy amber goodness with puffy off-white head; good retention and lacing. Big floral and fruit aromas - orange, grapefruit, mango, apricot - with a pine/resin bite over soft, earthy caramel malt backing. Lightly sweet, lasting but not overpowering hop bitterness. Medium-bodied and juicy smooth. Need to try again to be sure, but that first pint puts it among my favourite IPAs.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours an orange color, cloudy and with a dark melon like hue from deep within it. Fat creamy head of khaki foam that left plenty of clinging lace. Nose is tropical fruit and citrus. Light fresh orange on passion fruit. No pine in the nose until it warmed a bit then it was earthy pine needles. A beautiful scent of brown sugar for malt. Taste is outrageously good. The fruits are juicy and a bit tart too so they fully engage the palate. The earthy pine is light and the the malt becomes a soft light caramel. The body approaches medium but stays light. Thereís a bit of sticky resin at the back to coat the throat and leaves a bitter that starts soft and then increases in intensity after the swallow. Lingering after tatse of caramel, sweet fruit and pine needles. Brilliant beer.
I loved this beer. This had a sensual caramel that stayed generally light but was like a ribbon underneath this beer. The fruit was bountiful and the bitter started soft and then became a bit stronger as it lingered.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Excellent IPA. The nose comes in layers of stone and citrus fruit. Rich, yet refreshing and fruity palate of apricot and orange peel. Balanced hop finish. Great beer.
