Got to try this one before the Vikings Seahawks game last fall. Awesome wet hop that envelops your nose.

On tap. Coppery orange with thin head. C hops lend tangerine notes that nicely accent a strong, nutty, caramel malt body. Balanced subtle sweetness. Smooth and buttery. Chewy and agreeably bitter finish. A real treat.

Cask @ Fields. Floral, herb and citrus aroma. A note of caramel in the flavor. Citrus and herb also. Semi-sweet, juicy and smooth. I really enjoyed it. Of course, I’m a sucker for the cask.

Draft at fields. Pours a clear orangish chesnut brown with dense creamy khaki head that leaves ample lacing. Nice nutty toasted malt, ample sweetness with citric orange/pineapple hop aroma surrounding the malts. Both complement one another quite well. Solid, not overly aggressive bittering up front, makes way to nutty darker malts, sweetness that is balanced by both the hops and the malts. Solid beer.

Great aroma of juicy fruit bubble gum and toasted darker caramel malts. Pours darker shade of amber, nice offwhite head. The flavor is more juicy fruit up front followed by toasted malts, a hint of toffee and a bright juicy citrus finish. Good beer, highly drinkable.

Tap at Hood River Fresh Hops Fest... Poured deep amber-reddish with an off-white head. Well carbonated, and a little drying on the palate. Vegetable hop flavors, citrus, and some bitterness -- especially towards the end. Bread-like malts to balance.
