truegen (136), Puyallup, Washington, USA Mar 15, 2008 On tap at the Pine St. pub. Clear brassy color. No head to speak of. Very clean, crisp pilsener character, with a slightly sharper hop bite than most. Really went well with lunch.
after4ever (1696), Brier, Washington, USA Nov 7, 2007 Draft at Elysian Fields. Sweet. I finally get to flip out about a beer that turns out to have a much lower average than what I’m giving it. This beer rocked tonight--definitely tasted very fresh, FWIW. Coppery light amber with a thin but very persistent and moussy light tan head. Thick sheets of lace; they leave little sedimentary rings after each sip. Light bready and yeasty nose. Smells a bit starchy, not unlike boiled white rice. Definitely a bit floral in there as well. Rich, tingly attack, lots of corduroy-soft body. Light, crisp, and drinkable for having such an assertively-bodied attack. Grassy and somewhat floral mid-palate. Clean finish. Awesome. CapFlu (3254), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Nov 6, 2007 (Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on October 17, 2007. Light amber body with a near headless top. Nose is very citrus and grassy. Increadibly flavourful and bitter. States "more malt" but this is pleasently over-hopped. Finish is mildly malted with a bitter touch. Good. jcwattsrugger (3793), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Oct 12, 2007 on tap-pours a thin white head that laces and yellow color. Aroma is gain, lemon. Taste is bitter-lemon/grassy hops, secondary grain. Lots of grassy/spicy bitterness. OK/mild carbonation. puzzl (1715), New York, New York, USA Jan 8, 2007 Bomber. Bready, grassy aroma, well balanced, nice malts, aerosol cheese, a touch of smoke. nice cloudy darker gold pour... definitely unfiltered, good head. Very grassy, toasty flavor; delicious. Very drinkable, very solid.
