3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 riversideAK (4568) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Sweet toasty and appley. A little earthy. Mostly sweet in the nose. Pours golden amber, thin head and lace. The flavor is appley up front with some toast and sweet sugars. Definitely leaning towards the sweet side. Not really my favorite example.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 after4ever (4500) - Brier, Washington, USA - NOV 7, 2007
Draft at Elysian Fields. Sweet. I finally get to flip out about a beer that turns out to have a much lower average than what I’m giving it. This beer rocked tonight--definitely tasted very fresh, FWIW. Coppery light amber with a thin but very persistent and moussy light tan head. Thick sheets of lace; they leave little sedimentary rings after each sip. Light bready and yeasty nose. Smells a bit starchy, not unlike boiled white rice. Definitely a bit floral in there as well. Rich, tingly attack, lots of corduroy-soft body. Light, crisp, and drinkable for having such an assertively-bodied attack. Grassy and somewhat floral mid-palate. Clean finish. Awesome.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2007
(Draught) Sampled at the brewpub on October 17, 2007. Light amber body with a near headless top. Nose is very citrus and grassy. Increadibly flavourful and bitter. States "more malt" but this is pleasently over-hopped. Finish is mildly malted with a bitter touch. Good.
