3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy golden orange color with a one finger head of thick off white foam. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a nice level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is big and bready with a strong doughy aroma mixed within. Along with these aromas comes some smells of a grainy nature as well as some sweetness of orange and harvest fruits. There is a little bit of a grassy and hay smell rounding it all out and giving a nice aroma overall.
Taste – The taste begins with a very doughy taste mixed with some flavors of harvest fruit and an orange sweetness. The bready stays very strong with the sweet changing a bit as the orange gets more potent and the harvest fruits get lighter. With these taste transitions comes some flavors of hay and grain at the very end, leaving one with a rather sweet and doughy taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is slightly thicker and chewier with a carbonation that is average. For the doughy and sweet taste the chewy feel is great and makes for a nice thick medium for the rich tastes to be sensed.
Overall – I really enjoyed this pale. It is very malty and thick for a pale, but very tasty none the less. An enjoyable brew overall.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pretty beer.. nice medium brown/yellow appearance with some foamy head. Strong simple aroma of malt. Taste is pretty balanced.. malt, with some abrasive hops.... nice citrus. It’s not bad.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Grapefruit citrus hop aroma with light notes of caramel and pine. Pours cloudy orange colored with a thin but retentive tan head with minimal lacing. Starts with grapefruit citrus with a bit of melon flavor there as well. Finishes dry but not too dry with the grapefruit and melon flavors continuing and joined by a touch of caramel and a bit of pine bitterness. Decent, but not high on my list to find again.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured an orange color with a white head. Aroma was of stale old hops and caramel. Flavor the same, might be old but doesn’t seem like it was good to begin with.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz. bottle. Nice copper hue, with a big, foamy, beige head. The nose is honeydew, cloves, pine sap, light caramel, and vanilla. Sweet up front, with a very mild and smooth bitterness coming forward, and leaving a mellow, surprisingly pleasant aftertaste. Light to medium body, crisp, and a little thin. What a wonderfully smooth and balanced, mellow, pale ale!

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin, poorly retained off white head, over a hazy and particle laden amber (SRM 10) body.....nose is light cereal malts, light honey sweetness, light tropical fruit tones, hints of pine......taste is mildly sweet, with light fruit notes (peach, mango), finishing with light hops bitterness......mouth feel, medium body, no alcohol, light carbonation. This is a quite light take on an APA. The hops are mild in both aroma and flavor, and the hop backbone could use a rework. This is typical of the experiments run by the craft industry, sometimes the results are great, sometimes not. This falls into the latter category. BJCP 6/2/12/4/6

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark golden pour, creamy white head, active carbonation. Subdued aroma of bread and malty. Flavor is decent but again fairly mild that follows aroma with an ever so slight bitter finish. Drinkable but don’t think I’d spend $ on it again.
