Delicious beverage. Not very bitter but enough of a savory taste and aftertaste to keep you wanting more.

Pours a cloudy amber, with ample white head. Aroma sharply of hops. Tastes is hoppy and rich. Strong notes of alcohol. All in all, a solid pale ale. Thumbs up.

355ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden amber, with a smallish off-white head, which lasts quite well and leaves decent lacing. Plum and tropical hops mix with caramel malt to create the aroma. Spice, grapefruit and faint tropical hops up front give way to caramel malt sweetness in the mid-palate, with plum hops in the finish. A decent APA.

Pale gold, with foamy white head. Aroma is hoppy and floral. Taste of toffee, pine, oranges, and grapefruit. Slightly creamy mouth feel, good carbonation. Finishes slightly bitter, doesnít linger. Quite nice.

I really dig sorachi hops but wasnít getting a ton of em in this. It was still a slightly hoppier and slightly better than the standard apa, but not a standout. Nicely balanced.."

On tap @ Elysian Capitol Hill. Clear golden orange pour with white foam. Nose is kind of bready and grassy, but there is some decent topical fruit character. Mild citrus and lightly spicy. Taste is a touch on the sweet side. A lot of bread and fruit. Mild tropical notes and some sweet oranges. Grassy bitterness on the finish.

Not much to say about this beer for me, it was a an average run of the mill pale ale. Defiantly drinkable but didnít stand out. The bottle design and name are def the only thing that stands out about this beer.

Pours a clear orange amber with a thick cream head, great retention and chunky lacing. Nose is pine resin and grapefruit slightly edging out a caramel malt background, maybe a little citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is similar but a little muddled - the hops seem to have dulled and the malt is a little too present. Mouth feel is medium to full body, with low carbonation and a long, lingering bitter finish. Gotta say, time and time again, I find that Iím not a big fan of Sorachi Ace hops. Thereís something about them that I canít put my finger on, but doesnít completely work for me. Theyíre supposed to be light and lemony, but I get - for lack of a better comparison - cat piss, but only on the nose. Flavour-wise, this is a nice balance of light hops and mellow malt. Decent, but not a clear-cut winner, by any means. And for the love of all thatís holy, why the hell canít brewers put dates on their bottles? Is the muddled behaviour of the hops because itís an old bottle, or because thatís the way it was brewed? Who knows? I sure as hell donít, because thereís no human-readable date on the damn bottle! If your brewís got a hop character, date the damn bottle!

22oz Bottle pours a clear medium amber with a coarse off-white head. Muted citrus hop aroma, with some papery bitterness. caramelized malt flavors. Sweet smooth palate. Not very bitter, a malty pale ale that is a little strong. Tasty overall..
