Smells and tastes like Pine Sol. I don’t really like this one too much. Sorry but they are too good at pumpkin beer

8/24/2011: Elysian "Corporate Beer Still Sucks" Loser... Aroma: Sugary caramel, dried hops, tea. Appearance: Rusty gold to amber color; frothy beige head; hazy; moderate carbonation. Flavor: Pretty malty with quite a bit of caramel and toffee; mild tea and earthiness in the middle; finshes dry with a mild to moderate level of bitterness. Palate: Medium-full body; thick, yet smooth. Overall: I’m note sure what this is supposed to be style-wise, but it’s an okay beer overall.
1 Pint 6 fl. oz. bottle (Alcohol 7% by Volume). Rating #180 for this beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from the bottle into a trumpet glass to drink. The beer had a deep amber-copper color with a cloudy consistency, and a pale white foamy head with short-to-average retention, average lacing, and good cling. Its aroma had a strong citrus, grain, and pine blend, with light spice, and light touches of malt and caramel. The taste was fairly strongly bitter with a blend of earthy and citrus tones, and only the slightest barley malt presence. It had a dry body, with a fairly thick and full mouthfeel, and was a touch creamy, with good fizz and carbonation.

Draft. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.
