Bottle: Pours cloudy, orange-amber with a decent, vanilla coloured head. Caramel, pine, lemongrass scent. Malty, caramel taste.....with a very mild, grassy bitter. Not bad, but fairly average.

On tap at St. Augustine’s. Barrel aged version. Slightly hazy copper with a fine level of dense cap and good lacing. Aroma of wood, minimal bourbon, caramel, citrus. Taste is a great balance of bitter-sweet. Long dry finish.

Loser starts out looking like a winner. Hazy and orange. Love that crystal malt haze. Caramel malty notes blend with some citrus in an appealing nose. Taste is plenty of toffee, balanced nicely by hops. Great every day beer. Dry finish. Thanks for the trade Ron!

Bottle @ Jon’s place on the 4th. Pours a burnt orange appearance with an off white head. Caramel, toasted grain, and bread in the nose with some dull citrus. Bland caramel malty, grapefruity, herbal flavor. Seems a bit old.

Pour is a nice bronze, active bubbles with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is great; hops, floral, huge citrus. Taste is light-medium body, mostly bitter but balanced with the sweetness from the citrus. Finishes sharp, really refreshing and balanced ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, frae Brew Dog on-line store. Amber looks with a middling off-white head baby. Gentle citrus and hops in the beak. More fragrant hoppage unfolded in the taste alongside some caramel malt and fruit notes. Dry. crisp and essentially a likable beer. Props to Sub Pop are definitely worth giving as well.

12oz bottle, purchased today from Perfect Pour. Code on the bottle reads "06514368". Hazy orange color. Thin ring of kind of bubbly white head. Some bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Very light carbonation. Good biscuity malt flavor. Very hoppy and bitter. They’re calling this a pale ale, really? Not an IPA? Blindfolded this tastes very much like an IPA. Bigger body too, even. Light dry finish. Seems a little under carbonated though. Big bitter taste, minimal sweet. Some piney hop, bigger spicy flavor overall. Caramel. Ok stuff, a bit too over the top. Was looking for a regular pale, but even if this was looked at as an IPA it still doesn’t really shine. Gets a bit better as it warms -- some malt sweetness comes out to balance this huge bitterness.

Pours a hazy copper color with a quickly dissapating white foam head. Smells of grapefruit and even caramel. Tastes like grapefruit all the way. Good beer... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
