3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a bottle from cellar (54F). Pours a very nice dark gold, two finger head. Head is pretty darn persistent and leaves a load of lacing on the glass. Donít get a lot of aroma from this, but Iím eating a spicy cheese shrimp jambalaya so Iím sure thatís affecting things. The aroma that I get is a bit of pine resin with a bit of citrus. Tastes clean, crisp, and is going with the meal quite well. Nice bitterness with a touch of sweetness mid-swallow. Medium long finish. Nice beer with dinner.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Loser starts out looking like a winner. Hazy and orange. Love that crystal malt haze. Caramel malty notes blend with some citrus in an appealing nose. Taste is plenty of toffee, balanced nicely by hops. Great every day beer. Dry finish. Thanks for the trade Ron!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle @ Jonís place on the 4th. Pours a burnt orange appearance with an off white head. Caramel, toasted grain, and bread in the nose with some dull citrus. Bland caramel malty, grapefruity, herbal flavor. Seems a bit old.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is a nice bronze, active bubbles with a thick foamy white head. Aroma is great; hops, floral, huge citrus. Taste is light-medium body, mostly bitter but balanced with the sweetness from the citrus. Finishes sharp, really refreshing and balanced

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, frae Brew Dog on-line store. Amber looks with a middling off-white head baby. Gentle citrus and hops in the beak. More fragrant hoppage unfolded in the taste alongside some caramel malt and fruit notes. Dry. crisp and essentially a likable beer. Props to Sub Pop are definitely worth giving as well.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, purchased today from Perfect Pour. Code on the bottle reads "06514368". Hazy orange color. Thin ring of kind of bubbly white head. Some bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Very light carbonation. Good biscuity malt flavor. Very hoppy and bitter. Theyíre calling this a pale ale, really? Not an IPA? Blindfolded this tastes very much like an IPA. Bigger body too, even. Light dry finish. Seems a little under carbonated though. Big bitter taste, minimal sweet. Some piney hop, bigger spicy flavor overall. Caramel. Ok stuff, a bit too over the top. Was looking for a regular pale, but even if this was looked at as an IPA it still doesnít really shine. Gets a bit better as it warms -- some malt sweetness comes out to balance this huge bitterness.

Pours a hazy copper color with a quickly dissapating white foam head. Smells of grapefruit and even caramel. Tastes like grapefruit all the way. Good beer...

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. Hazy amber pour. Aroma is honey and fresh piney hops. Nicely balanced pale ale. Full bodied, heavy, thick, sweet, honey like malt is cut by bitter hops. The subtle alphas and lemony nuances of the Sorachi Ace hops are hidden by the malt, however. Very drinkable, but not memorable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Shared at Eagle Bay Brewery. Nothing spectacular happening here. Just a well rounded slightly bitter and very grapefruit driven pale. Drinks easy. Solid stuff
