Some hops but mostly malt in the aroma. Another nice beer. A bit malty for a pale ale, makes me think more of an amber, but a good amber.

Bottle. Resin & grapefruit aroma. Amber body with thin head. Flavor begins with caramel followed by buttery lemon and hops. The Sorachi is very dominant. An intense bitter aftertaste.

Pale golden amber with a generous head. Medium bodied with plenty of citrus and apricot on the palate. Easy drinking with a present, yet balanced hop finish.

In honor of Sub Pop records? I thought "Loser" by Beck, but Beck was never on Sub Pop. What? Nirvana had a rarely heard demo called "Loser". That must be it.

from Mondial de la Bière 2011, Strasbourg - hazy golden-orange beer with a poor head retention; a fair flowery hoppiness; moderate carbonation and medium-bodied; rounded and clean palate; a late and decent bitterness; long dry flowery hoppy finish

Aroma of pine, slight celery, a little citrus. Pours hazy dark orange with a big frothy head. Tastes malty and citrusy. The sorachi ace shines through on this one. Pleasant but sloppy.

650ml bottle pours amber in color with about a finger and a half of off-white head. Aroma is lightly roasted malts with some earthy and citrusy hops. Taste is lingering hoppy bitterness balanced with some malty sweetness. Medium bodied and nicely carbonated leaving a pleasant feeling on the palate. I rather enjoyed this beer.

Bottle bought from Seattle. Hazy amber color, small beige color. Bready, malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Bready, fruity, sweet, pineapple, hoppy ... Lingering sweet, bready, hoppy aftertaste. I’m a Loser babe!

Bottled. Deep ambery brown hazy colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral hops, some mild sweet malts as well as some slight salty notes with dough and mild spices. Flavour is fruity, floral, grassy, mild yeastyness as well some nice malts.

Pours amber with a fairly creamy off-white head and clear. Aroma is of citrus fruits and floral hops with a slight caramel malt scent. Taste is mildly bitter with a good sweet backbone. Medium body, softer carbonation, and smooth / creamy on the palate. Overall a decent pale ale.
