22oz bomber poured into a shaker. Pours orange with about a finger of white head. Aroma is very malt-oriented. Lots of bready caramel with minimal citrus hops. Taste is lightly bitter. Bready citrus hops with some caramel on the back end. Medium bodied with a somewhat slick texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, better than I though it would be. I would drink this again.

Pours light ruby with little head. Smell is malty sweet. Taste is spicy, a bit of rubber maybe. Decent.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle, which was poured into an Elysian pint glass. Always glad to try a new beer from Elysian.
The beer pours a hazy, dirty orange color with a white head. The aroma has quite a bit of toffee and biscuit malt, along with a little bit of sugary sweetness and some pine from the hops. The flavor is very similar. The toffee and biscuit malt really come through and add some sweetness. The hops are hidden deep in the background, but I think I can pick out some pine and orange notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3388) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2012
Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright caramel color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left great lacing. The aroma was musty and a bit perfumey with hints of bread and band-aid. The flavor was dryish and nutty with faint caramel, band-aid and a medicinal undertone. Medium length finish and medium body. Eh.
3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 stantheman (89) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 12, 2012
On tap at The Met in New Westminster. Served in a tulip glass $7. Ouch. Those Canadian taxes! Nice orangey coppery color. Little aroma or head. A moderately hoppy American ale. Some malt evident as well. Well balanced. Quite nice.

Bright orange, incredibly cloudy, and more black specs of sediment than I’ve ever seen in a beer. Huge puffs of cloudy head and a ton of white lace. It actually looks kind of amazing.
Aroma is earthy red/amber malts, followed by a scant hop. The flavor is basically the same; very strong amber malts.
Sandpapery feel. A decently drinkable little concoction. At $2.99 for a 22 I really couldn’t go wrong.

Finally a PNW Amber Ale brewed in the PNW that is below 6%abv! I don’t know what else to say about this beer that hasn’t already been said. Well-balanced is a quality that seems to be missing in most "Amber Ales" these days, but it looks like they’ve brought it this time. Medium and dark caramel flavors intertwine with a touch of roast and toast, a little bit of dark malt and a firm toss of finishing hops. Doesn’t finish too sweet and not too big so that you can drink in quantity. A great example of a high-rating beer that doesn’t have to be high in ABV.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is fruity, floral and earthy hops with bread and toast malt with fruity esters. Flavor is medium hops and bitterness, malt backbone with a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

Bottle. Cloudy orange brown color, small white edge head. Aroma of orange peel, raw sourdough bread dough, light spice. Taste is peppery caramel malt and light scotch. Nice.

Bonus bomber from a recent trade to satisfy my pale ale cravings. Pours a murky orange with a nice white head and decent lacing. Smooth and bordering on full bodied with a mild hop presence gives this a sessionability that is entertaining at the same time. Hope profile is mostly grassy and herbal hops. The finish has a touch of lemon on it but mostly a grassy presence. Nice sweetness working throughout. Pretty tasty.
