3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Dark reddish brown pour with a layer of beige foam and bubbles. Mostly toasted grains, citrus rind and pine resin in the aroma. The taste is a blend of grapefruit, pine and roasted malt with a bit of tropical fruit around the edges. The body is a tad thick and creamy with sufficient carbonation and bitter citrus finish. Overall, a flavorful Imperial Black IPA style brew.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Pours dark brown ruby with big offwhite head. Aroma is not my favorite. Not what i expected from an imperial quasi hoppy style. Burnt hop smell that is usually a warning sign to me. The upfront flavor is the same but about halfway through some piney hops and chocolatey malts save the day. 8% abv totally undectable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Super deep ruby, large pillowy sandy head, nice lacing.   Pith and pine on the nose.   Soft sweetness, a little citrus peel.   On the tongue its the same, pine, astringent pith, citrus peel, hoppy.
Wished it were a bit sweeter.   Has a moderate amount of sweetness, but could use a touch more to balance the astringent pith and citrus peel.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Feels a bit chewy, but quickly fades.
Lingering pith and citrus peel.   Pretty good, a bit above average.
