Pours a reddish orange color with a foamy head. Nose is hoppy and full of resin and pine . Taste is bitter and hoppy. Finish is bitter as well, not as flavorful as I expected. Quaff Score 5 / 10

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. Pours a hazy reddish brown color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of biscuit and red malt in it, as well as a hint of pine. The flavor is more of the same. The grass and pine notes meld well with the strong malt backbone. There is also a decent amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, light roasted malt and some feint tropical fruits. Flavour is rich, with fruity, citrusy hops, moderate roasted malt character, and a bit of caramel malt. Great balance between the hops and malt, with a moderate sweetness. Great one here.

Murky and burgundy-brown. Snappy, assertive hops from start to finish. Lots of pine, resin and grass, followed by a nip of citrus. Healthy amount of bitterness. Malt side is somewhat roasted and toasty, which seems to be its main deviation from being a black IPA. Also has a grainy nuttiness to it, which builds over time. Subtle scorched-toffee sweetness is easily kept in check by the hop bitterness and a hint of burntness. Tasty beer.

Pour from 22oz bottle. Dark dark red pour. Some tan lacing. Pine and faint citrus on the nose. Nicely hopped, strong pine and grapefruit. A very nice beer!

Dark brown with a hint of red. Clear with a thin head. Big hops and malt flavors and aroma. I do get some piney and light citrus flavors. This was a big tasty black beer. Thanks Tim for the taste.

Piney and floral hops on the nose, rather pungent hoppiness really. Toasted malts, a little sweetness, and some vodka. Pours darker auburn/amber. Thin head and lace. The flavor consists of pine and floral hops, toasted malts, a little roast, a little sweetness, and vodka. After the vodka comes an assertive and rather agressive hop bitterness. Lingering hops and a little booze. Good.
