Bottle sample at a tasting at the Dancing Camel Pub. Thanks David Cohen. Clear brown-bronze with an off-white head. Sweet aroma, mango, peach and pineapple. Tastes bitter and crude, probably due to age. Hardly any carbonation, light body and bitter finish.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Lightly hazym amber, minimal head. Distinct grapefruit aroma. Dry with clean, crisp mouthfeel. Bread and crystal malt rolled in layers of grapefruity hops. Short mid bitter finish. Simple concept, not much depth, but still tremendously well made, relaxed and likable.

Portland, Or - Johnís Market Place. Has a dark orange pour with an off-white head, light lacing. Patented crystal malt aroma with some fruity hints of nectarines. Flavor leans to the sweet side with some passion fruit sweetness, a nice dollop of caramel, toffee and a bit of nuttiness in the back end. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it.

Overall disappointing. This "red" is actually a medium amber heavily hopped ale. I was expecting a smooth mildly sweet Red when I first opened the bottle but was not thrilled with what I received. The It had a frothy foam head but again the hops were overpowering the flavor of the grains.
