3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy, tan. Acids on the aroma. Pumpkin, spice and a mild tartness define this beer. An odd duck, and not really one that I would want to drink.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Blind Tiger. Pale amber pour with almost no head at all. The nose is very cheesey. Lots of orange peel and a bit of weird funkiness and light spice. There is a bit of apple and sherry tartness with a kiss of light fruitiness. Flinty bitterness. It is fairly different from their other dark saison. It opens up as it warms and works a little bit better than I would have expected based on the first sip/sniff.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Falling Rock. Pours with a minimal head over a hazed orange hued body. Aromas are fruity, estery, lightly spicy, grainy and funky. FLavors are lightly sour, cherios (young sour character). Grainy. Medium to light bubbles, cleanly lactic, dry. Seems young.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the 2009 Great Pumpkin Festival, Cambridge Brewing Company, Cambridge MA on 31 October 2009. Cloudy orange/amber colour. Big farmyard and manure aroma. As funky as just about any lambic. Is this spiced? Certainly very subtle if it is. More of the same, but less so, on the palate - light funk and touch sour, but not as extreme as the aroma would suggest. Sort of mellow sweet and sour feel. Mouthfeel is rather lightweight. Overall, good stuff though.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at Falling Rock Tap House in Denver for the 2009 Elysian Pumpkinfest. This brew is a hazy dark amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates to almost nothing quickly. Aroma of sourdough, yeast and mild pumpkin. Medium body with a moderately sour character and flavors of tart fruit, pumpkin and bready malt. The finish is sour at first with a cinnamon bread aftertaste. Pretty good all in all.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
draft at gpbf. vive le spirit of experimentation! this is certainly unusual. hazy bright medium amber, very little head. mild vinegary nose, maybe a little pumpkin sweetness and nuttiness in there as well. tart vinegary mid palate with little carb, a little watery, faint squash notes. pretty cool but only so so as a drinker.
