Wow. I have tried almost every seasonal Halloween release to date and this is far and away the best. Beautiful, rich orange pour with a fizzy head (didnít last long sadly) that left little lacing. Huge amount of real pumpkin flavour which a lot of other seasonals lacked. A complex rich blend of spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, etc. Delicious!!

Bottle to pint glass. The pour is hazy amber with a one day need off white head. The aroma is super spicy. Lots of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The taste is very similar. It's like a liquid ginger snap cookie with a bit of pumpkin behind it. The finish is nice and clean. Dope beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rattle íní Hum, NYC tap: Pours brown with an off-white head. Aroma is really spicy... cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger (lots of ginger), with a nice malty backbone. Taste is kind of sweet and the spices dominate the taste about as much as it could be. This gives a really unique taste. Not exactly my favorite thing, but this is a pumpkin ale very much unlike the standard kind of pumpkin ale you usually see.

Bottle. 5.9% It pours a lovely amber brown with a thin light beige head. The aroma is a delicious fruity cinnamon, allspice & a hint of ginger. Medium bodied with a spicy ginger, cloves & cinnamon flavor with a nutty biscuity maltiness. Very well balanced spices, a great/wonderful pumpkin ale.

On tap at Top Hops, New York, NY. A hazy dark orange/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Pumpkin, spice, nutmeg, cinammon aroma. Tastes similar, pumpkin, spice, nutmeg, cinnamon. Decent.

Best Pumpkin of the year so far if you like the spice. No head ad no Lacing. Great Ale!

This has the best mix of pumpkin and spices that ive tried thus far. Perfect if you arent looking for a heavy abv. Also much more affordable than the more expensive specialty pumpkin ales with just as good a taste.. Which is all that matters.

Pours a clear pale to medium amber with a short, short-lived off-white head, minimal lacing. Nose is moderate to strong pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, caramel. Taste is initially moderate sweet pumpkin pie followed by mild to moderate bitter, building spice. Medium body, moderate sustained carbonation, with a dry, strongly bitter finish. Wow! Another good pumpkin beer! Thatís two this year! I think this one might be just slightly better than the Sam Adams - a little more pumpkin pie-ish - even though the sweetness might be a bit much if one were to have more than one. Nice balance of real pumpkin flavour and traditional pumpkin pie spices, with a decent underlying ale. I might not say yes to a second one, but I would say yes to another one, should the opportunity arise. Get it now while itís fresh, because I can see this dimming significantly with age.

Poured from bottle to glass. Copper hue with creamy off white head that dissipated to a ring. Aroma is pumpkin, nutmeg, clove, caramel. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet (but not cloying) with a slight spice astringentness following and clean finish. Overall this is a nice pumpkin brew.

On draft. Deep cloudy orange pour. No head. Aroma is big on cinnamon applesauce. Taste is a pumpkin pie bomb up front followed by a pleasant earthiness. Hits on a couple of different notes. Better than your average pumpkin beer, but not near the top of my list.
