Bottle: Pours copper with good clarity and a fading light tan head. The aroma is fairly promising. Has some sweet pumpkin presence and isn’t overly spiced. Some allspice, mild cinnamon, evident clove, and creamy pumpkin pie innards. Fairly light body. The flavor has way less character than the aroma. Upfront it has succinct and mild spice notes of clove, some butter, and very mild suggestions of pumpkin. The finish is very vacant and watery with only a note of lightly toasted malt and a cinnamon touch. Flavor is a big let down.

Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured a burnt orange with a frothy, white head. Aroma was spicy with cinnamon, nutmeg and a little pumpkin. Really smooth on the palate with sweet pumpkin pie flavors that weren’t overwhelming. The rest of the flavors matched the aroma pretty well. Some bread-like malt notes towards the finish.

Pours light amber-orange. Smells like a subdued pumpkin pie. Lots of pumpkin flavor with a nice bit of spice to balance. Medium/full bodied with an almost creamy mouthfeel. Pretty solid pumpkin ale overall.

Dense dark amber hue, no head present. Big sweet spices in the nose: pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice, brown sugar, a slight tinge of dark fruits and malts. Taste is wonderful, pumpkin pie with graham cracker crust, sweet fall spices, brown sugar and molasses, toast malts, finishes sweet. Palate is medium-full, light and smooth texture, high carbonation. A super spiced beer full of flavor, sweetness can be a bit overpowering and this one is enjoyed in smaller quantities.

Poured a deep chestnut amberish body with a wispy off-white head. Nose of pumpkin spice and malts with a zesty hops character. Tingly nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon hints. Crisp, creamy, robust, toasty, and superbly balanced. Yum!

Tap at Ginger Man. Nice orange-amber colour with a creamy white head. Lightly spicy pumpkin pie character. Light clove and allspice over a lightly toasty malt base. Flavour is unfortunately very watery. A bit of light toast and limpid pie spice. I know these guys can do better than this. As it warms, it gets a bit better, but it’s still not good.

Smells more pumpkin-y than it tastes. Not bad, but not what I expected. Also darker than I thought it would be. I guess if they’re going to go out of their way to mention how much great pumpkin flavor this has, it should probably have some pretty bold pumpkin flavor.
