Suds are bubbly and very thin. It's the color of apple juice. Nice pumpkin aroma and light on the palate. Nice selection but not overly impressive. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer lacks the intense spicing of some pumpkin ales and has a natrual pumpkin flavor (possibly a hint of allspice). It tastes like the pumpkin juice was squeezed out of the pumpkin for the purpose of this ale.

Very attractive deep red orange, fizzy one-finger head that vanishes completely. Fruity bouquet, but not exactly pumpkin, more orange-lemon. That should be a warning, because after an initial taste of fruit and spice, hops keep trying to push their pine-citrus profile over the pumpkin. This is like a noviceís idea of what a pumpkin ale should be after drinking only US IPAs. Gets better as it warms, and some actual pumpkin arrives. The finish is thankfully less bitter than the typical IPA, but the sour citrus notes remain. Not the worst, but with so many good pumpkin beers on the market _ including better ones from Elysian _ donít waste your time.

31/10/14 Cask, a moderately dark reddish ale with a slim off-white head. Aroma, they is pumpkin, malts. Taste, pumpkin, sweetness, fruity, pear, minimal bitter finish. Different and it has an appeal.

Draft at Red Star. Pours opaque murky copper with a creamy beige head. Tastes like sweet roasted pumpkin, cinnamon, sugar, cloves, squash, light alcohol. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like pumpkin cookies.

Pint in the Salt Cot (jdw) Lovely spicy fruit aroma and taste. Spiced orange finishing off with a pithy bitterness. Quite a thick almost oily feel. Very impressive.

Wow. I have tried almost every seasonal Halloween release to date and this is far and away the best. Beautiful, rich orange pour with a fizzy head (didnít last long sadly) that left little lacing. Huge amount of real pumpkin flavour which a lot of other seasonals lacked. A complex rich blend of spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, etc. Delicious!!

Bottle to pint glass. The pour is hazy amber with a one day need off white head. The aroma is super spicy. Lots of ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The taste is very similar. It's like a liquid ginger snap cookie with a bit of pumpkin behind it. The finish is nice and clean. Dope beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rattle íní Hum, NYC tap: Pours brown with an off-white head. Aroma is really spicy... cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and ginger (lots of ginger), with a nice malty backbone. Taste is kind of sweet and the spices dominate the taste about as much as it could be. This gives a really unique taste. Not exactly my favorite thing, but this is a pumpkin ale very much unlike the standard kind of pumpkin ale you usually see.

Bottle. 5.9% It pours a lovely amber brown with a thin light beige head. The aroma is a delicious fruity cinnamon, allspice & a hint of ginger. Medium bodied with a spicy ginger, cloves & cinnamon flavor with a nutty biscuity maltiness. Very well balanced spices, a great/wonderful pumpkin ale.
