I was a bit surprised to encounter Night Owl on draft after Christmas, but ordered a draft nonetheless. Textbook pumpkin ale, copper body, tan head, pumpkin, spice and maltiness all present in this light bodied beer.

Bottle from Mitsuya. Pours a clear copper with a nice off-white head that lingers throughout. Huge pumpkin pie with whipped cream nose. Lots of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger with lightly roasted pumpkin aromas. Malt backbone balances out the spices well. Slightly sweet on the palate with average carbonation. Finishes sweet with lingering pumpkin pie flavor. Wonderful dessert beer.

Still trickling reviews in from 2015 tasting. Night Owl looked great in round 1 ( 2nd of 12), but fell short of the mark in the final losing out to its cousin Great Pumpkin (and 10 others ranked ahead of it). 12th of 25 overall. Smokey, cinamon aroma. charcoal, pumkin taste, with cinnamon and other spice finish. I had it higher than others tasting.

12 oz bottle. Pours a nice orange copper color, pearly head, some lacing. Aroma is strongly spiced with clove and cinnamon. Some toffee malt and grassy hops as well. Flavor is medium sweetness, with a long bitter, spicy finish. Palate is perfect. Overall an excellent seasonal beer.

22FL OZ ($4.99 Bottle) one of the best pumpkin beers I’ve ever had. price is very very good for what you’re getting. this is close to what your mind is thinking when you grab for a pumpkin beer. this will not let you down.

Easy drinking, a good balance between fall spices and pumpkin flavor. Low carbonation, and a touch of sour similar to gose beer but not as severe. I’d buy again but wouldn’t go out of my way

Pours hazy light mahogany into a shaker. Soapy head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin aromas. Medium bodied with ginger, cinnamon and spice front to back.

Aroma caramel, pumpkin, pumpkin spices, Appearance orange, hazy, cloudy, minimal head, Taste medium sweetness, Palate medium body, average carbonation, Overall I get pumpkin pie on the nose which is a nice change from the overly spiced pumpkin beers that are on the market. The taste is lacking a little for me. More of a malty spice with little pumpkin. Still a well made beer that I would suggest to a friend.

Pours a brown color, with a light pumpkin aroma. Taste is a little fall spice and cinnamon, nutmeg flavor. A little watery in the aftertaste but decent for the style.

Pours cloudy chestnut brown with a wisp of off white head. Appearance resembles cider. Smells of pumpkin, ripe apples, cinnamon and brown sugar. Spicy nutmeg taste; yeast notes with light phenols layered in. Touch of bitterness on the finish. Thanks leafs.

on tap at Dog & Bull in Croydon - great cinnamon and clove aroma. Tastes like a pumpkin pie. Pretty good.
