This stuff is totally "down in fall". Thee artisan pacific northwest pumpkin beer. Pumpkin pie in a bottle. Halloween. Thanksgiving. Drink.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2007 heavy full aroma of cinnamon, brown sugar and nutmeg. flavor is everything i look for in a pumpkin beer, it’s full bodied, well rounded, and tastes true to form. the malt backbone is strong enough to stand up to the deep aggressive spices. other pumpkin beers taste somewhat artificial and forced. there’s not much pumpkin on the nose, but it comes through on the finish and leaves a great impression.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2011 Thanks to Ryan for this one. Amber body, a small beige head forms. Lemony tang in the nose, lots of spice and pumpkin. Flavor is sugary, along with the suspected pumpkin and usual spices. Lots of pumpkin pie filling in the finish

22 oz bottle. King of the Pumpkin Beers? I think so. After Blue Moon’s, Jack’s (Michelob), and Dogfish Head, this one’s the best. It has all the best attributes of pumpkin beer (which I’ve already mentioned in the previous reviews), but it’s better; more like tasting an actual pumpkin pie than a beer with pumpkin pie flavoring, more robust, more flavorful. It’s GREAT............................................. charlie brown (lame joke).

There was the first pumpkin ale I have had that has truly embodied the flavor and aroma of pumpkin pie. This beer claims to be made with lots of real pumpkins and spices and I believe it. This beer is smooth and creamy.

Poured into a tulip snifter glass Nice reddish Amber color Nose of various spices, but not overwhelming. Pumpkin was subtle and a little understated Very refreshing on the palate, with no lingering finish Overall, very nice. One of my favorite seasonal pumpkin ales so far ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is my favorite of the pumpkin brews as it isn't imperial, has a Tom of pumpkin spice flavor and isn't too sweet. Too many pumpkin beers turn out bland with no body. This beer is the exception. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy orange/amber. Thin white head, nice lacing. Fantastic pumpkin, cinnamon, spice nose. Creamy pumpkin start, a tad tart that quickly disappears. Broad sweetness, but mostly spices (clove?). Smooth creamy mouthfeel with just enough carbonation. If you like pumpkins and pumpkin pie, this is a phenomenal beer.

Poured a hazy dark amber and immediately out of the bottle I caught the sweet smell of pumpkin pie. Hints of cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg also was present there and all this followed through in the taste without disappointment. A fantastic example of this style! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2007 Bottle - Thanks Finn! - Pours a murky light amber with a small off white head...aroma is pie spice, corriander, cinnamon...flavour is similar, terrific spice and malt balance, slight biscuit...finish is creamy and integrated, absolutely great with some age...
