I thought this was a very good version of a pumpkin beer. Not overally spiced though I would have liked it to be a little heavier.

I was a bit surprised to encounter Night Owl on draft after Christmas, but ordered a draft nonetheless. Textbook pumpkin ale, copper body, tan head, pumpkin, spice and maltiness all present in this light bodied beer.

Average pumpkin beer. A little sour, lite on flavor and aroma. I'd defer to other Elysian fall offerings, and you should too.

Bottle from brewolf...thanks Michael! - Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Nose is spicy--all the spices from the description are there--clove most dominant, then ginger, with the allspice and nutmeg hanging out too. Light sweetness and a bit of light bread. Taste is roughly the same, with the spice really showing itself on the finish, after the initial pumpkin/bread malt recedes. Thin body with ample carbonation. Interesting beer, though a little heavy on the spice.

Suds are bubbly and very thin. It's the color of apple juice. Nice pumpkin aroma and light on the palate. Nice selection but not overly impressive.

Aroma is pumpkin and various spices including cinnamon and nutmeg. Amber-orange color with a thin head. Strong pumpkin flavor balanced with spices. Nutmeg, cinnamon and clove notes.

Bottle. Mostly clear red-orange with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is pumpkin, lots of spice, and some fruitiness. Taste is sweet with not a whole lot of flavor. A little spice on the finish. Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad for a lighter pumpkin, but pumpkin beers shouldn’t be that light IMO.

(Bottle). Amber-orange complexion. Aroma was faint but distinctly pumpkin. The flavor was true to style and was not overly spiced with natural pumpkin flavor. A bid too carbonated. This is my first sample from this brewer. Looking forward to others.

22oz bomber. Pour is a beautiful clear orange color with no head at all. Aroma is of pumpkin, pumpkin spice and everything nice. Mouth is semi- sweet up front with pumpkin flavor and a mild bitterness. I catch a little spice in the finish. Fairly lighter in body with a slightly watered down effect. Not bad overall but would appreciate more spice notes in the flavor.

Picked up a 12oz bottle which was good because a bomber or a sixer would be way too much. Orange color with good lacing but it also has a lot of particulate floating throughout. Strong smell of the typical pumpkin pie spices. Flavor is pumpkin, nutmeg, spicy. This is good but I really don’t want too much of it, kind of overpowering.
