3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From 22oz bottle to shaker. Pour is a dull yellow, thin bubbly white head. Nose is super sweet, fruity, clove, slight hop. Light bodied, bitter and hints of sweet coming through, more of a hop bitterness then the nose lets you think. Decent beer, it definitely lives up to the Oddland name.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle a few months back. Hazy yellow-orange color with a white head. The aroma is full of ginger as well as some pear notes. Quite spicy smelling. The flavor is very similar. There is a ton of ginger and cumin in the flavor as well as some sweet pear notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A definite spice bomb. My only complaint is that I wish the pear stood out more.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of lots of spices (peppery, rye, bitter, ginger, clove) with light fruits and pear. Flavor of spices upfront with flowery perfume and light fruits in the finish. It is heavily spiced, probably more than it is pear-y. I was excited and afraid to try this beer but it is pretty good.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hmm, quite disappointing. There’s spices galore but it’s not a good thing. It’s dry & a touch bitter. Surprised this is considered a fruit beer. Not that good at all!

22. Pours a crystal clear medium amber with a fizzy white head. Lots of stringy loose lace. White pepper, fruit skins, and crisp pear on the nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, pear, and white pepper on the mid palate. Mild pear finish.

Draft at pony with Andrew. Pours a clear golden body with light white lacing. Aroma is weird metal, pennies and some funky floral notes. Mouthfeel is medium to light with lots of spice, fruit, and grain. Nahh.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at 16 Tons Cafe, Eugene. Pours a slightly cloudy golden, as befits having pear juice. Decent amount off-white head. Aroma citrus hoppiness, pear, grassy notes as well. Body somewhat dull, medium, slightly creamy. Finish surprisingly bitter, long-lasting, sharp, resinous, spicy.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bomber. Pours a golden color, with an aroma of spice. Tasted a bit of cumin and cardamom, not a whole lot of pear taste. It is a nice, easy to drink beer.

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Gold mostly clear pour some head. Smell of cumin, corriander, and strangely, sage. Also fruity bananas on the nose. Intense spice flavor. A bit too medicinal and drying. With all of these intense savory spice flavors it seems like other flavors are missing like garlic and hot peppers. Honey sweet pear also comes through here. A noble experiment, at least it freshened my breath.
