Draft at GPBF. Also tapped from a pumpkin firkin at GPBF. More on the firkin in a minute. Pours a murky dark brown with a modest but dense and creamy tan head. Big estery nose showing lots of tangy dark pitted tree fruit and then a sharpness, almost a bitiness, from the cardamom seeds. Creamy medium body with a big bruising overripe fruit character, and then at the very end of the finish, there’s a long hot cinnamony bite from the seeds, almost like a Red Hot (cinnamon candy). What a cool name--and how fun to see it come out of the pumpkin firkin. Firkin made it cloudier but didn’t lend any flesh particles to it. Softened the carb, but only slightly. Maybe a little bit fruity/sweeter.
