Smell: Malty nose smelling mildly of chocolate, smokey, roasted grains, and burnt breadcrusts.
Taste: Blend of chocolate and roasted, earthy grains with a fairly restrained sweetness present. Slight breadiness. Light touch of molasses and caramel squares. Thin trace of fruitiness. Light, woodsy, floral hops with a light bitterness. Finishes drying with a lingering taste of unsweetened chocolate.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Smells of light chocolate cream, vanilla, light dark fruits, and caramel malt. The flavor had some dark sweet malt, toasted malts, and caramel cream. Lots of toffee and molasses as well. Pretty sweet in the taste overall. The chocolate really came out in the finish along with some coffee. Not a bad porter.
