The aroma contains notes of honey and rosehips - not suiting for the style - rather a mead - but still OK. The flavor is slightly roasted, which gives it a dry end, but the body is thin. Just not enough of the good stuff. Papsoe (14895), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Pours hazy, opaque black with a tall, rough shaving foam style head leaving laces. Lightly tart aroma. Thin and watery, lightly roasted malt and a huge carbonation with big bubbles. Subdued bitterness. I reckon there’s an infection hiding in here somewhere. 070907 omhper (12171), Stockholm, Sweden

black, roasted malt aroma, thin body, lots of roasted malt flavor, good deal of hop and malt bitterness in the finish, more of a stout other than the body, too much malt bitterness
