Very dark body, medium head. Mocha aroma, notes of chocolate in the nose. Malt is chocolatey with touches of coffee, but feels a bit thin. Smooth, moderately hoppy, roasty finish. Slight sweetness, lightly earthy. Finish does not last long, simple but enjoyable overall.

Rich dark color, but the head disappeared almost immidiately. Sweet vanilla nose followed by a definite presence of baker’s chocolate. Some well roasted malt too! Mildly interesting, did keep me coming back to it, but maybe that’s because it was too thin. finish kept me in tune for a little while, but there’s nothing super special here.

Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Pours black with medium tan head. Nice tan lacing also. A real nice looking pour. Aroma is chololate, malts and faint hops. As it warms the aroma seems to get more milky. Flavor is roasted bitter malts, cocoa, light smoke and light hops in the finish. Body was just a tad thin but overall it was pretty damn good.

[bottle] shared by skyview. Pours brown with a large off white head. Sweet chocolate aroma. Highly carbonated, rocky mouthfeel. Flavor is roasty, chocolatey, and sweet.

Bomber. Aroma: Rich roasted malt flavor with overtones of coffee and cocoa. Appearance: Pours black, but with strong red highlights when held to the light. Head was medium tan, full and foamy. Good retention and nice lacing. Flavor: Coffee and cocoa, with hints of smoke. Some sourness near the finish which brings to mind dried cherries. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Some astringency noticed throughout, but more prominent in the finish. Overall: Not bad, but really lacking anything interesting to make it stand out. Mouthfeel was a little thin.

A worthy representative of the style. Not great. Not average. Just a good liquid-candy refreshment.
