Hazy amber with low head. Very woody nose - the centennial signature. Toasty, lightly chocolatey malts and lots of bitterness. Woody, lightly citric hop character. Assertive but balanced IPA that harkens to the mid 90s and does it really well.

@GCBF-on tap-pours a light tan head and cloudy amber color. Aroma is nice sweet citrus hops, some malt. Taste is mice sweet/some bitter citrus hops-earthy/resin, some malt. Medium body. OK/mild carbonation.

Draft @ Strange Brewfest 07: Pours a pellucid amber color, nice head and lacing. Nose of light crispy hops, fairly earthy though. The malts are more prevalent with a tangy acidic mouthfeel and hop impact in the finish. Needs some dry hops or something. A bit brash and dry. Like an unbalanced arrogant bastard...

Cask @ Elysian Fields. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor with a long hoppy bitter finish. Leaving you with a long bitter aftertaste.

This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy typically carbonated dark orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy with mild piney notes. The mouth feel was crisp with a cascade hop palate. There was something off in the taste. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

(Draught) Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival 2007 in Victoria on September 7th, 2007. Mellow hop nose. Flavour has near cask oily quality. Decent orange hop nose and flavour was only average.
