COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale orange, fruity hoppy and strong. A bold, unapologetically hoppy northwest-style IPA. Brewed with Pale, Munich and Crystal malts with a portion of sugar. Bittered and finished with Chinook, Centennial and whole flower Cascade hops all over the place.

Pours a hazy medium golden color with minimal head. Strong aroma of citrus, hops and sweet malts. Sweet malts and hops. A bit sweet and syrupy in the mouth for me, but the flavor is otherwise pleasant and the hops cut the sweetness a bit. A very flavorful IPA, but maybe not one I would want to drink on a hot day.

Draft pour at the brewery. Plastic cup in pure celebration of Mariners opening day. Pours a copper color with a bubbly head. Mild wet hoppy aroma. Flavor has a nice up front hop character. Bitter finish, but not overly intense. Overall a really standard, non unique ipa. Not bad though.

"Really nice hop profile here. Either due to age (no bottle date so canít tell) or to an abundance of biscuit malt as well, this is a good ipa that could have been great. Aboubding in aroma and flavor of citrus and spicy hops, and like I said, a ton of biscuit malt. That would usually be enough to dislike a beer, but this had enough going for it, and was so stinking smooth, that it still ends up pretty nice. Iíd get again. I imagine this is awesome fresh from the tap."

Cloudy off orange with nice frothy head. Big hoppy nose. Flavor is the same with a dry moisture sucking quality. Finishing with a bit of hoppy pepperness.

Poured from a 1 litre bottle. Good amount of white frothy head. Clear golden brown with very little carbonation that is visible. Having the beer with some salmon kama, and itís bitterness works really well as a pallette cleanser. This is a very well balanced ipa. I usually donít like the oneís that are bitter, just for the sake of being bitter. Leaves a light coating in your mouth, and I find that quite enjoyable

Bottle. A light, hazy orange-amber hue with just a thin topping of stick, white foam. The aroma is enticingly herbal and citric. The beer drinks with a bit of thin consistency, but the flavors are decent -- pine, pepper, and a bit of light wood. (#5391, 12/21/2013)

Bottled: unk Pours orange and diaphanous. Some soapy foam atop an etched surface. Reminds me of Ruination on the nose. Nice grapefruit, pineapple and mango with plenty of the ganja. Flavor is really biscuity with way less hops than I had anticipated. Bitterness with some grapefruit rinds and the beer is quite sweet. Then when I swallow, the bitterness comes back through to encore over me and leaves me wanting a refill. Medium bodied with a good slight dryness offsetting the sweet malts. Overall, a nice beer with interesting twists and turns. Serving type: bottle 06-13-2012
