3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rastacouere (5923) - Montréal, - JUL 29, 2005
Cloudy golden appearance. 1cm white foam. Big lack of hops strike immediately in the nose, but the heavy fruity character compensate. Pineapple and grainy malts are a good match, the light lactic bite seems to fit well with the lemony fruit salad notes. Estery on the tongue, fruit salad and banana tartish tones. There really is a big hop issue, where are they? We’re left with astringent yogurty tartness... Fortunately, the mouthfeel is excellent, highly foamy, explosive palate.
