Tap. Pours slightly cloudy, pale gold with thin, creamy white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is citrus fruit, floral hops, straw malt, bananas, and herbs. Flavor is mostly hops (medium bitterness) and citrus fruit esters with supporting malt; dry, hoppy finish. Light/medium body, medium carbonation, and low warmth.

From tap at the Pike brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and crisp hoppy. Bitter, slight citrusy and crisp into the finish. Bitter and smooth hoppy finish.

Tiny carbonation bubbles rapidly ascend through the blonde-bronze body to feed a white head spread about like layer of pond scum. Toasty grain nose, tannins, musky, reeking with co-humulones and dank weed. The body is also sharply tannic and green. Intense weed flavor, high levels of co-humulone, toasty and dank. Definitely some intense aromatics and flavor characteristics.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JAN 6, 2012
Draft at brewpub. Gold. Nice lacing. Interesting aroma. Very nutty malts, fresh pale cereal. The balance is great, really light but super flavorful. So drinkable. The pine flavor of the cascade is wonderful. They balanced the flavors so well, the body is wonderfully light and refreshing and so full flavored. At first didn’t like the aromas but I grow to like them, remind me of some English brew really earthy. They have packed in a lot of good flavor into a low ABV, which is remarkable.

NobleSquirrel (3437) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 14, 2011
Draft at GABF. Pours an attractive and deep gold, white persistent head. Nose is dank, tons of hop character with some soft American malt notes. Citrus and cannabis being the main components. The taste is a bit different. Strong bitterness that doesn’t have the hop flavor to support. Had big expectations, but it’s mostly just bitter with a soft malt profile. Needs more hop flavor.

Golden. Big bursting hop aroma - orange, grapefruit and maybe some florals. Light body, with a big blast of citrusy hops, balanced by mellow pale malt sweetness. I’d drink a lot of this...better be on tap next trip to Seattle.

Wow, was this 3%? We need this in Utah. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet biscuit and pine. The flavor is a smooth lightly bitter mix, some bready malts, bit of lingering sweetness. Interesting.

Draft at the Pike Street. Pours a clear burnished medium amber. Loose white head. Nitrogenous nose with black pepper and a bit of vegetal quality. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, corn nuts, black pepper, and a bit of cabbage on the mid palate.

2.6%abv. Clear golden color/ white head. Mild, but nice floral, pine aromas. Light to medium bodied. Mild to medium bitterness here with a weak malt character--not much malt or hop flavors--pale ale lite.

This beer brewed for the Naked City Session Fest.
Original beer was a barley wine then this was re brewed to use the rest of the sugars and flavors. And they get this “slight return”. Awesome golden brew hazy with a light head. Awesome light malt and hops flavors. This was very tasty. 3.1ABV Damn good stuff.
