Draft at Eulogy. Very dark brown pour. Tan foam. Deep burnt flavors. Charcoal. Coffee. Root beer. Chocolate bourbon. Flaming marshmallows. Dark for sure but still feels juicy. Body just a bit too thin. Still great stuff!

Aroma is fantastic on this beer. Heavenly espresso/ cold press (I drink both every day). Appearance is very low in carbonation, no head. Taste is very coffee heavy. Like only coffee. It has a mild "green" bitterness from the coffee. If they barrel aged this it would be legit! Palate is very light and thin. If this was barrel ages and the alcohol was kicked up a bit, we would have a 4.5+!

Poured very dark brown with a big ram head. Nose of chocolate and coffee. Medium to bold body. Flavor is rich with lots of chocolate and a big rush of coffee with a bitter finish. Very good.

This is a really good coffee stout. Good carbonation. Malty coffee nose. Taste is done well, controlled bitterness, roasted coffee with moderate malts. Head is dark tan which eventually disappeared. med mouthfeel. 8.9joek, 8.75bd

Dark brown color with thin brown head. Really pleasant aroma of coffee with some cocoa notes. Perfect balance of coffee, pronounced but not overwhelming and chewy lightly smoked malt with port and chocolate liquor flavors . Finishes with taste of fresh coffee grinds.

Vlqck pour no head. Pretty good. Dark malt and sweetness lots of coffee. Pretty good.

Bottle shared by a friend. Dark brown pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee. Malty chocolate flavor with some malt before a bitter coffee finish. Pretty straightforward, but solid.

The beer pours a dark brown color with a small tan head. The aroma is full of lactose and cream with some coffee notes. The flavor is full of chocolate and coffee notes, with some lactose thrown in. I also get a hint of roasted malt in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A: Pitch black with a dense tan head.
S: Straight up coffee grinds.
T: Strong coffee with light milk, leans sweet.
M: Medium body, light carb.
O: Great coffee stout.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. It poured a hazy dark color with a tan head. The aroma was of espresso, jalapeno, cacao and hops. The taste was of cacao, espresso, hot peppers and a somewhat sweet finish. Very good.
