Kind of a coffee bomb. Espresso and some roast. Light sweet finish. Pours black with good mocha head. Bittersweet finish. Old festival rating.

From bottle. Pours with a huge beige head, four fingers high, and I couldnít finish the pour. Dark brown. Big aroma of coffee. Taste is quite strong at first but mellows to very nice as the pallet adjusts. Creamy mouthfeel with a lovely gentle sweetness.

Bottle from Mitsuya. Deep brown with a mocha colored head. Strong espresso notes with some milk chocolate, milk and a hint of dark fruit. Taste canít live up to the nose, so a bit of a disappointment there. Body is a little thin, but good coffee flavor is there with some roasted malt. Not bad.

From NOTES, on NITRO. A: Fresh espresso aroma thatís complemented very well by the lactose. Hint of vanilla. A: Pours black with a finger of tan head that fades into a thin ring with little lacing. T: Big roasty expresso coffee that does not have even a hint of bitterness. Milk chocolates and dark chocolate. Hint of lacto milky notes almost like creamer for a coffee. Beer finishes with a touch of chocolatey sweetness and a mild expresso note. P: Light body and low carbonation. Body is very thin and it seems a little bit undercarbonated. O: a nice coffee stout greatly enhanced by the nitro tap

Deep brown with off white head. Aroma is a very nice coffee, not really espresso..maybe it is, but its a nice coffee. Chocolate and coffee are very well balanced, the low abv makes this dangerously easy to drink. Really liked this one.

Dark deep brown with a wee ruby highlight, under a thin light khaki head. Lovely creamy dark chocolate aroma with a coffee tone thatís not quite espresso but itís earthy sweet and creamy for sure. Nice robust roast coffee and earthy roasty chocolate flavor with a full creamy flavor and body that hides the astringent earthy tones. Sweet and dark and creamy and coffeeish.

Black with a dark brown head. Sweet dark malts and coffee are the two notes I picked up in this one. It also has some vanilla in the background, rounding out the sweet malt. Full bodied. Pretty simple coffee stout but well made at the same time.

Visual: Pours dark cola brown with an INSANE amount of ultra creamy long-lasting root beer head, lots of micro steady streams around the perimeter. Nose: caramel malts with some chocolate and roasted coffee. (lvl-8)-pungency Attack: creamy-bubbly head, fizzy crisp tingly Mid-palate: continual fizzy-bloated, background light sourness, (lvl-6)-sweetness, (MAIN) milky chocolate, roast coffee, root beer, dark malt Finish: roasted exhale, burpy, light burnt bitterness, soft roasted finish. Summary: Good sweet roasted malt entry and clean finish. Overall satisfied but leaves you feeling a bit bloated due to the creaminess.

Great flavor. Has nice smooth espresso notes that come through. Very easy to drink. Darker in color.
