3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Trader Joeís in Davis, CA. Pours hazy amber with a slight creamy white head. Aroma seems grapefruit. Med body or nearly. Flavor is zesty - but seems more grapefruit rind than anything else. So much so that Iím not really getting much malt - other than itís there supporting. Iíd support this as a low ABV IPA! Itís quite tasty.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy gold pour. Extreme citrus aromas and flavour, without being bitter. I got big grapefruit flavours, but not as much sweetness from the blood orange as I expected. Still tasty.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Expected a bit more battering from the blood orange. Sessionable beer. Good head retention, good color, thought it needed more nose. Good beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Dirty straw, orange hue, little sudsy white head, no real lacing.   Faint citrusy hop aroma, slightly floral as well.   All very minor.   Moderate bitterness up front, a touch mealy, with a very soft pith and peel citrus based background.   Blood oranges?   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft hop finish, citrus pith and peel.   I thought it would be a bit sweeter, but it was not.   Decent, but middle of the road.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Drank in snifter poured from bomber. Aroma - very nice with a hint of orange citrus smell. Appearance - some trub in a beautiful golden hue. Moderate froth. Taste - smooth but a little bitter. You can taste the orange zest/pulp. Palate - bitter and zesty. Literally. Overall - very nice but maybe a bit too bitter from the pulp.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Aroma is perfumy, doughy, chalky; the orange makes itself known after it warms up. Pours hazy orange with a medium collapsing white head. Taste is mostly bitter with a nice orange component that provides a bit of tartness; also some graininess in the finish. Prickly carbonation, medium body. Not bad.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I was expecting a lot more from this beer considering Elysianís pedigree. I didnít get much Blood Orange or even citrus taste and it wasnít that hoppy either. Label was cool though.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2013 Surpisingly decent color, but very subtle so could be overlooked. Caramel undertones in the aroma work against its summer beer persona. With the citrus profile, makes an excellent change up for a long evening session beer.
