12oz single from Crossroads. Thus was a rather boring pale ale. The milky orange body sat under an average sized fiamy white head and had a little extra citrus juciness in the aroma that didnít carry over to the grainy bready flavor. Meh.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Hazy straw with a thin white head. Aroma is resin, tangerine and citrus skins. Blood orange comes through in the taste backed up by resinous bitterness. Prickly carb. Nice change of pace.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, tiny bubbled, very well retained, off white head, with some lacing, over a very hazy, gold (SRM 5) body....nose is heavy citrus (orange in type), light cereal, minimal hop notes, no esters.....taste is citrus with grapefruit, orange, blood orange, lime (a fruit salad), minimal esters, light hop honey floral notes, finishing with a lingering bitterness....mouth feel, medium body, moderate astringency, moderate acid finish, with low carbonation. This is not an APA, it is rather a spice, herb, vegetable variant. The APA is lightly present, with the malts and hops nicely balanced. However they are both dominated, as is the yeast contributions, by the fruit additions. It is not an unpleasant beer, it just isnít an APA. Rating above to enjoyment, with rating below to style. 3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy copper color with a moderate white head on it. Nose has some floral grassiness to it with just a bit of citrus coming through. Taste has some sweet and bitter tones to it, with the citrus coming through slightly more here. Never would have guessed there was blood orange in this, though.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rather dry and fairly bitter. Tight, bitter citrus zest, dry hops, Lacking greatly in punch and trailing off quickly, itís a bit disappointing.

On tap, pours an orange yellow with a big white head, laces well. Nose is hopes and sweet citrus. Crisp pleasant hop and sweet citrus taste with a mellow bitter finish. Pretty impressive beer.
