Bomber. Hazy pale orange/yellow with an off white head. Grapefruit, sweet orange, light mango and lemon hops, high carbonation, mild body, slightly dry, interesting.

Super hazy golden coloured body with a beige and yellow tint and a ridiculously nicely microfoamed golden coloured head - this looks great. Aroma of bright, fresh grassy and herbal hops with some sweetness, citrus and a good dose of resin at the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Mildish, malty, earthy and floral flavours at first with some oranges, yeast and bread noticeable. Aftertaste is very minimal and only showing some very light grassy hops, no malt, no sweetness and no complexity. Overall, an amazing looking and smelling beer, but sadly - it stops there. It makes sense at only 5.4%abv, but I wish it tasted as good as it looked and smelled! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Brown Jug (Spenard) in Anchorage, Alaska on 04-October-2013 for US$4.99 sampled at home on the opposite end of the country at home in Washington on 19-November-2013.

ABV 5.4% Bottled: unk Hazy apricot color with a solid, fine white quilt. Smells like blood orange juice, a little gym sock, some clipped and dried grass with a touch of resin. Taste is like grain, some blood orange, standard orange pith and some bitterness. Maybe a touch of acidic vomit, but more the aftertaste than the actual taste. Medium on full bodied with low carb and a slightly wet finish. Meh, not very good.

Draft at Smoke and Barrel in DC. Poured a nice clear amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was notes of oranges, some grapefruit. Flavor was nice, grapefruits, spices. Plenty of orange notes in this one. Pretty enjoyable.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange-amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma. Grapefruit and citrus flavor. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and citrus lingers with light pine and light earth.

12oz bottle courtesy of Anndiesel. Thick, unfiltered orange-tan body. Massive meringue type head. Pleasant tropical orange aroma. An interesting concoction, accentuates the citrus and brings an orange flavor into the mix. A little sweet and sugary, the artificial flavor isn’t a bonus. Assertive hops keep it going though. Not a bad beverage, but not the best beer.

Bottle - IPA like citrus and orange notes. Orange with a rich white head. Starts with a tiny hit of bitterness and finishes with a pithy orange. Orange is very nice, but I am having trouble drinking the whole bottle.

22oz bottle, from Mondial de la Bière shop, Mulhouse Sep 2012. Pours a murky orange, immediate fresh orange marmelade aroma, substituted by rather peachy and mango flavours than indistinct blood orange. Nice and dryish palate working in accord with sweet malt base and bitter c-hops. Easily sessionable, great light APA with the quality malt and hop base of a diluted IPA.

22 oz. bomber from Trader Joe’s. It pours a very effervescent light orange color with a fizzy off white head. The aroma is bready with hints of caramel and floral hops. Old school APA here. The flavor is the same. Nice floral and mildly citrus bitterness with a bready and very faintly caramel malt background. Not an incredibly exciting beer, but a solid APA.

Appearance: cloudy orange with a creamy, dense near white head and decent, silky lacing. Aroma: orange (of course), but also grapefruit, passion fruit, a bit of mango, some vanilla, and a bit of pine; almost like a tropical/citrus creamsicle, but not that sweet. Taste: bitter citrus up front, with definite blood orange and grapefruit notes, over a lighter bed of slightly toasty malts that try, but fail, to balance. Finish: bitter, slightly dry, with lingering orange flavors. Notes: Plenty of citrus, as advertised. The bottle art was pretty funky and cool.
