Bottle in Port Angeles with Scott and family. Aroma and flavor of pale ale and blood orange, which was a perfect pairing. Nice going on this one. Probably won't see another one, but I'd like to. Good beer, great recipe. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange pour from 22oz bottle at home. Grapefruit and tangy aroma. Smooth fruity citrus taste. Slightly bitter with mild hops. Easy drinking and good

lamas (1436) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Bottle. A hazy/murky light rust pour with a thin beige head. Tangy blood oranges, zesty citrus rinds, freshly cut grass, lots of spiciness, light candi sugar, and a little caramel maltiness in the aroma. Relatively medium-bodied on the way down. The taste starts with a fair amount of caramel and a sweet cereal graininess. Kinda crackery. Plenty of juicy/tangy oranges and zesty citrus rinds at the end. A good deal of spiciness throughout. A tad resiny. I think I let this one age a bit too much in my fridge. It was much tastier when it was fresh.

Bottle. Judging by other reviews, I think something may have been "off" with my bottle. Got some orange, but there was a lot of metallic flavor. Fortunately, I am still alive after drinking it to write this review, so I can tell you to look out for this. Hopefully you guys will have a better experience!

Draft. Golden pour white head. Citrus and a bit of orange. Bitter finish but not obnoxious. Good.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale orange color with a small off white head. Nice citrusy hop aroma, with lots of orange and sweet malt. This is a nice refreshing APA. Taste is orange, some grapefruit, sweet malts, with a nice hoppy finish.

sulawang (706) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 20, 2013
pours translucent marmalade orange with a very small head, barely any retention, and not much activity. Fragrant orange and grapefruit on the nose - very fruity and inviting. Attack: crisp, half silky/half creamy, oncoming sharp bitterness Mid-palate: fruity 5/10-sweet orange, grapefruit peel, malts, hints of pine Finish: long lingering grapefruity-hopped intense bitter finish Overall very balanced, drinkable, and a good-textured beer, but also quite aggressive with the hopped bitter finish.

Growler. Very hazy orange with a small, quickly dissipating head. Aroma is lots of citrus peel with some pine, malt and honey. Flavor is sweet orange, clean malt and medium hop bitterness. Lighter body with a dryish finish. Nice pale, lots of natural orange flavor that works well with the hops and malt.
