1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Smells hoppy, yeasty. Tastes like someone mixed an ipa with tart blood orange juice. Very tart and bitter, not in a good way. There is just way too much going on and none of it works together. Yuck.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid dark straw with 2-finger off-white head. Nose is blood orange zest, berries, piney malt, florals. Tastes very tart, citric, with notes of blood orange, tangerine, berry, and a tart finish. This one is unique and tasty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. Hazy straw color with a large white head. The aroma is full of blood orange and grapefruit notes with some wheat character thrown in. The flavor is similar. I get some pithy blood orange notes, as well as a little bit of juicy citrus. The wheat and biscuit character is present, as is some grass from the hops. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy golden with a thin foamy white head. Aroma of ruby red grapefruit zest with an underlying grapefruit malt. Just from the aroma I would give this to a Texas born hop head. Flavor very well matches. Nice ruby red grapefruit tone, but with a light hoppy bitterness that doesn’t dominate; bitterness is definitely there but it’s mild overall, instead opting for the natural twang of the grapefruit. Pale grain and subtle caramel undertones.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy golden-orange with a thin, white head. Fruity, hoppy citrus aroma. Flavor is fruity, with a citrus hop element, and bitter blood orange that asserts itself in the finish. Quenching and quite drinkable, although the lasting bitter blood orange finish keeps it from going down too easily and out of lawnmower beer territory.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at Columbia event. Aroma very slight, tart, sweet. Very nice, light body, finishes easy, 45 IBUs absolutely disappear, very easy drinking, although I would’ve liked more citrus taste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at fields. Pours a murky dark amber with bright orange highlights. Dense pillowy white head. Mild sweet orange blossom nose, sweet and floral. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sweet with a mild dry bitterness. Not a real blood orange showcase, far from the sharp bitterness of a campari. Mild finish.
