Bottle, orange/amber beer, big sudsy white head, great lacing. Aroma is sprucy/onion, and grapefruit. Taste is pale malt, faint grapefruit, some orangey juciness. Palate is smooth, but light, carbonation moderate.

4 oz pour from tap into a cylindrical tasting glass at the brewery in Seattle. Light orange and hazy with a light white head. Nose is sweet and pleasant orange. Medium body, crisp, and creamy. Really nice, kind of a thicker pils body. Taste is great. A solid, but not obtrusive, malt backbone, with nice hops bitterness up front and tasty blood orange citrus throughout. Leaves a little orange on the tounge, like taking a bite out of the fruit. I could see myself drinking this on a hot day at home or in the sun at the beach.

Draft. Colored like apricot skin, moderately hazy, with a fuzzy white head that recedes quickly. Bright orange peel and grass in the nose -- very hop and citrus-focused. Funky orange juice and a distinct cracker malt note emerge as well. Orange pith and sharp hops lead the flavor, followed by citrus juice, with an acidic bite. A shot of honey balances out the finish, but it leans bitter overall -- a bite of orange that gets some pith. Medium body, soft and smooth. Carbonation is pretty high, nearly painful. Lingering orange acidity. A nice display of orange flavor, with citrus additions that make it drink almost like an IPA.

The acidity from the blood orange is fairly noticable and makes for an unusual mouthfeel. Fairly heavy malty mouth. Decent bitterness. Nice stuff.

15 May 2015, tap. Orange, slightly hazy. Nose is thin body and mildly fizzy. Sweet orange juice up front and orange pith at the end. Pretty good.

Poured a clear golden orange. Aromas of orange and some sweet malt. Flavor was orange and light. Light body and thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and smooth finish. Decent light beer for summer, but nothing I’d seek out.

Bottle from Roth’s. Very hazy on the pour. Amber with a little red in color. Sweetish nose with a touch of hops. Sweet and malty base. A bit of hop character. The maltiness seems to dominate. Might be a hint of fruitiness. Fairly standard sweet pale ale. Once I got used to the sweetness, some nice hop character shows through the finish.

On tap @ The Huddle. Pours hazy pale orange with thin lacy white head. Aroma is pale malt and earthy slightly bitter citrus on the back. Taste is chewy lightly sweet pale malt, and dry fresh citrus that melds with very light hops to create a unique flavor. The malt and bitterness of an IPA, just lacking in hop flavor. Odd. I liked it.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a slight gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Flavor has bitter citrus with some earthy grains and a bit of of sweetness underlying. Flavor has musty bitter citrus with some earthy grains and a hint of light fruits backing.
