Fantastic citrus aroma. Wonderful balance for a fruit beer, tangy with some hoppy bitterness to remind you you’re drinking beer. If you like citrus, you’ll like this.

3fourths (7859) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 7, 2014
Bottle. Cloudy orange with a short head. Grassy and resinous American hops with acidic citrus pulp. Medium body, medium sweetness with assertive bitterness and acidic grip. Malt is thin and shaky, carbonation doesn’t do much, it ends up smelling like a humid brewery: raw and grassy and minty toothpaste hops, with equally raw and grainy malt, there’s your Cracklin’ Oat Bran cereal, now that you’ve brushed your teeth, have a glass of orange juice with your cereal. Drink this stuff for breakfast at least, to get the true effect.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4785) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 15, 2014 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky orange-peach color with a small foam y white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was bitter and tart grapefruit, orange and a bit of sugar. The flavor was dry, bitter and tart grapefruit and orange. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Dacrza (486) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - JUN 6, 2014
DATE REVIEWED: May 30, 2014... GLASSWARE: Howard’s Pub pint... OCCASION: the end of baseball--18-6, a game short of sectional champs... APPEARANCE: pours a heavy,, unfiltered orange amber,, opaque yet alive; slightly off-white head is a finger thick and reasonably creamy; nice cloud-like smear as the glass drains... AROMA: dramatic citrus, as expected; some astringent grapefruit and what must be blood orange; overall, alluring enough... PALATE: hyper-active start to finish, with full-bodied teeth rattle and a low-end resonance at the throat; lingers like a trip; refreshing yet a bit too demanding for a pale ale... TASTE: despite the label’s psychedelia, not outrageous or funky--puckerish orange cream mingles with pale malts to produce a soft, reasonably balanced tart finish, ... OVERALLL: is that Lenny Kravitz on the bottle? a tug of war between "I wanna get away" and "are you gonna go my way?"--straddling the line between nuanced and novelty--but on a hot day, it delivers refreshment....
