3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. A hazy/murky light rust pour with a thin beige head. Tangy blood oranges, zesty citrus rinds, freshly cut grass, lots of spiciness, light candi sugar, and a little caramel maltiness in the aroma. Relatively medium-bodied on the way down. The taste starts with a fair amount of caramel and a sweet cereal graininess. Kinda crackery. Plenty of juicy/tangy oranges and zesty citrus rinds at the end. A good deal of spiciness throughout. A tad resiny. I think I let this one age a bit too much in my fridge. It was much tastier when it was fresh.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: cloudy orange with a creamy, dense near white head and decent, silky lacing. Aroma: orange (of course), but also grapefruit, passion fruit, a bit of mango, some vanilla, and a bit of pine; almost like a tropical/citrus creamsicle, but not that sweet. Taste: bitter citrus up front, with definite blood orange and grapefruit notes, over a lighter bed of slightly toasty malts that try, but fail, to balance. Finish: bitter, slightly dry, with lingering orange flavors. Notes: Plenty of citrus, as advertised. The bottle art was pretty funky and cool.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Unclear orange yellow, thin off-white foam fades. Aroma of orange zest and floral spruce. Sprucey fruit taste, citrus orange and grapefruit, backseat pale malt. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Finishes a bit more acidic grapefruity. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle in Port Angeles with Scott and family. Aroma and flavor of pale ale and blood orange, which was a perfect pairing. Nice going on this one. Probably won't see another one, but I'd like to. Good beer, great recipe.

Easy drinking pale ale that comes through on both orange flavors and those of a typical pale ale. Yum.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A fun summer pale that works! Pour is more hefe like in its cloudiness. Primary flavor note to me is more grapefruit than orange, over a pale base that provides a nice foundation. Tanginess lingers. A refreshing session at 5.4%! B+

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy yellow gold, thin qhite lacing. Medium bitter orange aroma. Flavor is spot on-blood orange with a crisp palate and great bitterness. More like a hoppy pale ale than a fruit beer. No sweetness or saccharine at all.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Logan Twp Giant Eagle. Pours a gorgeous, hazy orange with a huge, frothy white head. The nose is dominated by citrus hop notes, orange and lemon, cat pee and grass. Watery mouthfeel with lots of hop flavor, lemon orange and herbs, Not overly bitter, but chock full of hoppy goodness with out going overboard. Yummy.
