650ml brown bottle. Hazy gold with a creamy white head. Decent lacing. Nose has piney and dank hops and very zesty orange peels. Taste has grain/toasty cereal malt base, a bit toasty and moderately sweet, hops are orange peel, late bitterness. Orange peel and slightly grapefruity aftertaste. A nice citrusy pale ale.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a very hazy pale gold tinged with a pinkish red and topped with a moderate white head. Very pleasant aroma that is filled with citrus fruitiness but specifically notable is the presence of blood orange. The flavor begins with husky malt, a bit grainy, which is probably my least favorite component to this beer. Finish is citrusy and again, the blood orange is very prominent. Grapefruit and orange bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied.

Pours yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of citrusy and floral hops, fruits, some blood orange and grapefruit. Taste is hoppy, fruity and a bit sweet juicy with hints of blood orange and citrus. Finish is sweet, malty and hoppy with some juicy notes. Refreshing and hoppy pale ale.

12 ounce bottle. Cloudy orange gold color. Small foamy beige head. Biscuit malt nose with hints of sweet orange. Toasted malt flavor masks a subtle sweet orange zesty ness. Bitter peppery hops come through in mid taste and finish. Dry bitter aftertaste. Well balanced and drinkable.

Pale hazed orange pour wit creamy white head and lace. Aroma is spicy floral and citrus with a nice malt kicker. Flavor is semi sweet malt and a nice floral bitter finish. Medium bodied and a tad fizzy still a nice beer.

Pours hazy pale gold with two fingers of loose white head, good retention, moderate lacing (4/5). Nose is orange peel, pine resin and floral hops, caramel malt (7/10). Taste is hop forward, then moderate caramel and citrus sweetness, finishing bitter (7/10). Medium body, moderate to low sustained carbonation, with a lingering bitter orange peel finish (4/5). I’m not sure what I was expecting, but that wasn’t it! That being said, the orange is actually very well done - its presence is more peel than pulp or juice, which works very well with the bitter hop character of the underlying APA. I guess I was expecting a sweet, orange juice-y character, but this is actually extremely restrained on the sweetness, imparting loads of citrus character without being sickly. And boy, does it linger! (15/20)

On tap @ The Huddle. Pours hazy pale orange with thin lacy white head. Aroma is pale malt and earthy slightly bitter citrus on the back. Taste is chewy lightly sweet pale malt, and dry fresh citrus that melds with very light hops to create a unique flavor. The malt and bitterness of an IPA, just lacking in hop flavor. Odd. I liked it.

Draft. Colored like apricot skin, moderately hazy, with a fuzzy white head that recedes quickly. Bright orange peel and grass in the nose -- very hop and citrus-focused. Funky orange juice and a distinct cracker malt note emerge as well. Orange pith and sharp hops lead the flavor, followed by citrus juice, with an acidic bite. A shot of honey balances out the finish, but it leans bitter overall -- a bite of orange that gets some pith. Medium body, soft and smooth. Carbonation is pretty high, nearly painful. Lingering orange acidity. A nice display of orange flavor, with citrus additions that make it drink almost like an IPA.

Tap at some fancy place in Portland. Pour is orange brown and light with little head. Nose is sweet and body follows. Smooth and sweet. Orange for sure. Bit of pink grapefruit too. Good and would do again but super sweet.
