A fruity American Pale Ale. Good quality, best enjoyed in the big pint sized bottle.

Draft pour at special brews. Pours a bright cloudy orange color with an oily head. Wet hops and grainy malt aroma. I would have liked to see a little more orange here. Itís definitely there, but the amount doesnít really define the beer in my opinion. Orange, grapefruit, and other citrusy, hop forward flavor with a bit of a bitter finish. Overall, pretty good. Had a few times now, and Iíll probably drink this again.

Pour on tap at OB HMLS, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, grapefruit, orange peel, hints of biscuit, bread, hints of spice into a bit of slight floral notes. Taste is a mix of biscuit, caramel into a bit of orange, orange peel, some orange juice, hints of earth, spice and floral notes.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured an amber color with aromas of hops, citrus, light orange, and some bitterness. Flavors were light malt followed by some citrus and feint blood orange. A little disappointed here wanted more blood orange to come through.

Rating #1086 - May 19, 2014 - #mondaynightbeers @RevolutionYEG. Dark amber pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is sweet citrus, lemon, and orange. Taste is a blast of citrusy sweetness, tempered by an explosion of hoppy bitterness, drying out the finish, but leaving the palate demanding another sip. Balanced, and extremely drinkable - supah legit.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark amber, reflects the blood orange. Soft white head and lace rings. Flavour has lots of citrus like biting an orange. Some hoppiness.

Gave this one a shot. It was decent. The orange was not over powering but it was there. So were the hops. Iím not sure why Elysian is so expensive (over $14 a sixer). Definitely not worth the price

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy yellowish orange with little head or lacing. Orange and tangerine on the nose. Not as crisp a mouthfeel as I was expecting, but itís also not as sweet as some other beers of this type. Tangy, hints of lemon zest and grapefruit. All in all, a nice beer, especially during the warm summer months.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aromas of blood orange, grapefruit, citrusy hops and a touch of pine. Pours a hazy golden/amber with a minimal white fizzy head. Taste brings forth stronger notes of hops and pine, with slight orange and grapefruit in the finish. Pretty solid citrus pale ale
