ABV: 7.7%. Unclear medium to dark amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy spices, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, (pumphin spices). Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dark caramel, clove - peppery spicy mouthfell, pumpkin spices. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110223]

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of ditmier. Only 7.7% in my version. Pours an almost clear deep golden with a small off-white head. Sophisticated exotic fruit aroma and spices of course. Medium body, again fruit and caramel with a pleasant spiciness. Some decent hoppiness in the finish. One of the better pumpkin beers. 230211

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. (As The Great Pumpkin, 9.5%.) Hazy nut brown. Strong aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon. Sweet and extremely spicy withfull bodya nd firm mouthfeel. Some molasses, but the spices cover that. Warming alcoholic finish. Not balanced in the ordinary sense, but very interesting.
