Bottle: The aroma on this is incredible...pumpkin, caramel, graham cracker, nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon. It pours a hazy brownish-orange with a small off-white head that is pretty much just a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with pumpkin, caramel, and graham cracker. The finish has cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and faint vanilla. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Probably the best pumpkin beer I’ve ever had.

Bomber. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a sudsy layer of off-white foam. Aroma is a blend of roasted pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice and pie crust with a little orange marmalade. The flavor has a strong roasted, vegetal pumpkin seed and pie puree note upfront immediately followed by cinnamon, clove and ginger. Also in the mix is some vanilla, graham cracker, brown sugar and alcohol around the edges. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation and a slightly bitter, spiced finish. Overall, a top notch Imperial style Pumpkin Ale with excellent balance between the pumpkin, spice, malt and hops flavors.

On tap at the Blind Tiger - NYC. Warm, kinda funky, pumpkin meat and vinegar aroma. Some gentle spice. Pours a deep, clear rich orange, with a well-lacing white. Flavor is insane. Complex, creamy, deep and amazingly balanced. So well built. Nice spice character, a nip of cream, and a bit tooth of caramelized pumpkin flesh. A bit of hop adds a neat balance in the backend. Wow. This is incredible and surprising. Fantastic.

On tap at the Elysian Tangle Town location. It pours a clear dull-tarnished coppery-orange with somewhat creamy tan head and nice lacing. The aroma has even amounts of nutmeg, cinnamon and pumpkin. In lesser amounts I get cloves and malty sweetness in the background. The taste starts with only a moment of non descript malt sweetness. After that a rush of pumpkin, pumpkin seed nuttiness, cinnamon and nutmeg squashes the sweeter malt notes. All the flavor components are balanced and fit together nicely. Chewy malt sweetness with traces of pale malts intercede midway. I get a mild sense of hop bitterness hanging around in the background. All of the flavors fade toward the dry finish and into the after taste with lingering spice and pumpkin.

Happy Halloween, Pours a golden orange color with a thick fluffy white head that leaves spotty lacing. Smells like pumpkin pie spices and pumpkin, tastes like Pumpkin Pie with a slight alcohol presence. Mouthfeel is thick and slightly creamy with great carbonation. Overall this is my second favorite pumpkin beer besides Southern Tier’s Pumking.

From bottle. Hazy golden color. Intense pumpkin flavor with the nutmeg and spice of a good pumpkin pie. Great alcohol kick. One of my all-time favorite pumpkin beers.

Bottle from Santa. Thanks! Pours a deep, rich amber with a definite pumpkin pie nose- nutmeg, pumpkin, sugar, and a touch of cinnamon. Flavor follows suit; an explosion of pumpkin, nutmeg, sugar, and cinnamon. Leaves an inviting film that lets the flavors lolligag on the tongue. Wish I had much more of this.
