Very large bright white head of fine bubbles. Reduces slowly and leaves a thick sticky sheet of lacing. Fruity hops aroma with some pear and apple. Light malt in there also. Little weak for an IPA but what is there is quite nice. Crystal clear orangish brown. Very smooth and easy drinking with more fruit (pear) and a bit of piney hops. Some biscuity malts for balance. This is a rather light bodied IPA. Finishes smooth, clean and bitter. A decent and very easy drinking IPA.

Not as bad as the ratings would suggest. Still, uses more bittering hops at the end than floral ones. Could use a LOT more Alphas. Flavor is biscuity with an underlying bitterness that extends itself throughout the beer.

22 oz. Very ho-hum- not that bright hop flavor I look for and expect in a PNW brewed IPA- more light citric, much in the family of Avery IPA- not a compliment.

Bomber I bought on my last trip to the Northwest. Pours orange with a 3 finger puffy puffy tan head. Nose is sweet and citrussy. Taste has some nice citrus and some hoppy bitterness. This is a decent IPA.

Pours out a dark amber/light copper with a medium sized white head. Aroma is of floral hops and some pine. Taste is well balanced, some citrus/floral hops blend with a few sweet malty notes, maybe slight fruit, bitter hoppy finish. Solid IPA

need to preface this one by saying I tried it after a pliney the elder... so it’s a little unfair. bomber. amber gold color with creamy bright white head. aroma of light citrus hops and a little funk. taste is a good mix of sweet biscuity caramel malts and citrus hops. light bitter finish. drinkable brew. aroma just seemed a little odd fit. K-7

Pretty run of the mill IPA. Piny, citric, a bit watery, but fairly well balanced. Nothing bad, just very basic.

Pours a light copper with a strong pillowy head that keeps its form to the last drop. Wonderful aroma is of cherries, plums butter, citrus, and a bit of dust. Taste is fruity, dry, and simple, with a pronounced lingering bitter finish. Medium body with good carbonation. Not bad. It fits the standard style guidelines. It just needs a slight bit more maltiness, and an additional dry hop to become a truly great IPA in my book.
