jlf278 (252), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Apr 1, 2008 On tap, was a pretty solid interpretation of the classic IPA. Lots of bitterness on the end, with some dirt to it. Still, really liked it and would go for it again. ALthough more for it’s character than effect. killjoy966 (215), Washington, USA Mar 30, 2008 Fairly decent beer, but as I am not much of a hophead, it tasted like pure hop oils to me at times. Not the most pleasurable of tastes. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA Mar 29, 2008 Richmond Industry Gathering 2007. Hazy amber body. Sweet caramel aroma. Light caramel flavor with a huge hop kick. darbish (81), Portland, Oregon, USA Mar 25, 2008 smells very sweet, maybe a little fruity. Smells astringent and hoppy. poured very fizzy and carbonated; cloudy and a dark brownish-orange color. tastes pretty sweet at first, but the hops kick in, and take the edge off. a pretty good beer, i’m happy i tried it. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 22, 2008 Fresh bomber found in Vancouver. Grapefruit colour with some initial significant head. Initiually C-hop and grapefruit, followed by lemony astringency that allows the rest to be drunk, and there is much malt and significnat tangerine in finish. HughConway (364), Alabama, USA Mar 16, 2008 Bottle. Clear light copper color with thin white head. Strong hop aroma. Nice slightly sweet malt taste with nice bitter hope aftertaste. Good IPA beertattoo (3), USA does not count Mar 11, 2008 Beautiful clear copper pour w/ dense off-white head. Healthy mouthfeel with slight malty sweet coating until the astringency of the aftertaste gives in. Not overly strong, I could drink this all afternoon. Changus (13), Portland, Oregon, USA Mar 4, 2008 Gold, citrus, good hop aroma nice bitter and a good dry finish but a bit too long. Head is smooth and falls off with a mild lace. Good, but not a favorite.
