Bomber from ditmier - thanks, Eric! Nice pale amber pour with a light fluffy head. Soft toasted malts in the aroma blend nicely with faintly sweet fruity hops. Initial thoughts were that this brew - which has a lovely, creamy mouthfeel - might be a bit too biscuity for my taste, but turns out that Elysian really hits the mark with the English style, with an invitingly fragrant hop blend coming through easily after the initial sips. Full, well balanced, and really enjoyable.

Pours a golden color with a fine off white head. The aroma is very lactic with some light citrus notes. Kind of a strange sour milk nose. Definitely English in style. Flavor is spicy and bready with caramel in the background. Finishes spicy bitter. Nice diversion from the usual west coast ipa’s.

Bomber with ’Brewed @ New Belgium for Elysian’ written on side. Aroma has some pungency and a little pineapple/mango tropical thing. Flavor is pretty straightforward, hoppy West Coast IPA, though it’s pretty well-balanced. Nice carbonation, very drinkable. Overall, it was good, but I’d been hoping for a little more.

Draft at Taphouse (Seattle, WA). Hazy, copper amber pour with a foamy tan head. Citrus hop aroma and flavor. Goes down smooth and easy with a nice bitter finish.

1 pint 6 oz. Bottle. Pours hazy amber; a small frothy head looms for a short period. The aroma is citrusy but light to the nose. Hop flavors control the palate and the taste is very fizzy, but the finish is somewhat bitter. A classic IPA

Bottled. Clear golden color, short head. Hoppy aroma. Bitter taste. Nothing special, just a regular IPA. Decent stuff.

On tap at the Elysian Fields pub. Colour... lightly golden-orange. Nose... fairly grape-fruity with some malt. Palate... burst of grapefruit up front, crisp, fresh and a long hoppy finish.

Bottle@UDRM. Tnx JBrus! Aroma has citric hops. Slightly hazy, orange coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is bitter, little sweet. Citric hops again. Medium body. Descent beer.
