hellbilly (1492), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Nov 12, 2007 bomber from kenb. a copper colored brew with a small white head. aromas of coppery malts, dried apricots, orange and some mineral qualities. flavor is overly sweet and full of citrus, caramel and grassy hops. finish and aftertaste is pine hop bitterness. creamy mouth feel with medium body. too sweet to let the hops get through.... Trev (850), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Nov 10, 2007 Bomber: Pours a nice copper colour with a medium foamy white head.
Strong aroma of Grapefruit citrus, resiny pine. Flavour not as bitter as expected but very tasty. EithCubes (2140), Indiana, USA Nov 5, 2007 Bomber from jake65 - thanks, Jake! Sweet aroma hops, big time PNW grapefruit and lychee and faint pine with a decidedly more exotic touch: big-time mango! Touch of rubbing alcohol. Excitable brew, inches and inches of long-lasting whitish head, orange body. Taste is extremely fruity and hoppy, floral and perfumed, but the bitterness level is low and the dry aftertaste resounds with fresh-baked bread and earthy caramel. An interesting combination. Citrus is really amped. Bit of dust and white pepper. Perfect session body with a little prickling carbonation and some interesting hop/resin-based texture. A touch too sweet for volume drinking, but I’m not worried about over-scoring. A lot of flavor here, and very appealing. 152219 (14), USA Oct 30, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice copper color with a small amout of head. Initial aroma is of hops and a mild amout of malt. The hoppiness and citrus tones hit the palate and are smoothed out with a twinge of maltiness. Enjoyed this beer. jcr (1136), Jasper, Indiana, USA Oct 29, 2007 Nice malt backbone to a distinctly Northwestern America IPA. Pour amber/gold with creamy off-white head. Nice aroma of caramel malt and citrus and floral hops, especially orange and grapefruit with a hint of perfume. The flavor is moderately bitter and moderately sweet. The sweetness balances the bitterness a bit too much. That makes it an easy drinking IPA especially with its medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Bradrcr (778), Renton, Washington, USA Oct 21, 2007 Updated: Aug 29, 200910/20/07 On draught at the Capitol Hill brewery. Aroma is citrus and grassy hops forward, with a very light sweet malt balance. Appearance is a hazy yellow gold with a low white head. Flavor is highly bitter hops forward, grassy with sweet citrus and some earthiness. It’s well banaced with the sweet malt but not integrated. Mouthfeel is medium/low bodied with a medium carb feel. Overall, strong and interesting, but just needs the flavors to be better merged. 2/20/09 On draft at Elysian Capitol Hill, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is an even c-hop and caramel blend, simple but satisfying. Appearance is hazy orange with a well maintained white head. Flavor is a blend of very sweet malt and very sour hops; bittering is relatively low for an ipa. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a medium, slightly spritzy carb texture. Overall, just not that easy drinking. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Oct 19, 2007 Tap - Eastside Club Tavern - Olympia, WA
Aroma – Deep Hops with a slight malt
Appearance – Deep amber, clear as a bell and a good white head
Flavor – This was a thick hopped IPA flavor with a good malt background.
Palate – Had a clean taste and was a great beer from start to finish.
Overall –This was a great IPA and the extra added hops added to the overall flavor. Great BEER!!!

A light amber color with a white frothy head. This had hops from the start to the finish. This was a deep IPA. A great hoppy beer for those who love the hops. It was a deep banana and grapefruit aroma and taste. Great stuff.
riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Oct 19, 2007 Aroma of citrus and funky hops. Pours amber gold. Flavor is a moderate citrus and funky sweatsocks bitterness with some noticable toasty caramel malt, but just for balance. Finishes with a lingering dryness. It is very well balanced and easy drinking.
