jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Oct 11, 2007 on tap-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is citrus hops, secondary medium malt. Taste is citrus hops-some bitter, secondary medium malt. OK carbonation. Tejas (693), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 23, 2007 Not much head but still looks ok. Little appley aroma. Apple and grapefruit flavor with a hoppy finish. Just the right amount of bitterness for a regular IPA. Nice. Copper-orange color. Strong hop aroma. A typical Northwest IPA. It is all about the Northwest hops. Its only failing is the lack of malt characteristic I look for in an IPA. This with a Indian curry would be great! GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Sep 2, 2007 Draft. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was thick, creamy, and off white with good retention and lacing. The aroma was not as floral or citrusy as I had expected for a left coast IPA, but was ample. There was also a modest malty caramel note. Slightly sweet on the tongue with only mild hop bitterness. Again, not what I had expected. The malt-hop balance was equal with biscuity malt and light citrusy hop flavors. Overall, a non-offensive IPA that was very easy to drink. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Immortal IPA

Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Aug 20, 2007 Updated: Nov 10, 2007Re-rated from bottle Nov. 2007. Very nice pour with long-lasting, lace-leaving head. Straightforward and relatively balanced. Not a hop-assault and not a very complex IPA. Some white pepper notes. Had also sampled at a Great Canadian Beer festival. Did not take detailed notes and only indicated that it was an excellent IPA but for more reliable tasting notes will have to try it again, in a longer draught from the bottle or tap. illinismitty (1790), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Aug 19, 2007 Draft at Elysian Fields in Seattle. Pours golden with a retentive white head. Aroma of skunk (yes, my wife confirmed), faint citrus, and pale malts. Flavor of pale malts and grapefruit with a dry and grassy bitter finish.
The beer is decent, but nothing really grabbed my attention. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 13, 2007 Deep copper orange color with a frothy white head. Bright crisp and fruity flavor that is evident in nose. Bitter finish that lingered. It’s a wonder why this beer is not more renowned globally.
