Pour amber/gold with creamy off-white head. Nice aroma of caramel malt and citrus and floral hops, especially orange and grapefruit with a hint of perfume. The flavor is moderately bitter and moderately sweet. The sweetness balances the bitterness a bit too much. That makes it an easy drinking IPA especially with its medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Bradrcr (779), Renton, Washington, USA

Aroma is citrus and grassy hops forward, with a very light sweet malt balance. Appearance is a hazy yellow gold with a low white head. Flavor is highly bitter hops forward, grassy with sweet citrus and some earthiness. It’s well banaced with the sweet malt but not integrated. Mouthfeel is medium/low bodied with a medium carb feel. Overall, strong and interesting, but just needs the flavors to be better merged. 2/20/09 On draft at Elysian Capitol Hill, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is an even c-hop and caramel blend, simple but satisfying. Appearance is hazy orange with a well maintained white head. Flavor is a blend of very sweet malt and very sour hops; bittering is relatively low for an ipa. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a medium, slightly spritzy carb texture. Overall, just not that easy drinking. BrewDad (2366), Olympia, Washington, USA

Aroma – Deep Hops with a slight malt
Appearance – Deep amber, clear as a bell and a good white head
Flavor – This was a thick hopped IPA flavor with a good malt background.
Palate – Had a clean taste and was a great beer from start to finish.
Overall –This was a great IPA and the extra added hops added to the overall flavor. Great BEER!!!

A light amber color with a white frothy head. This had hops from the start to the finish. This was a deep IPA. A great hoppy beer for those who love the hops. It was a deep banana and grapefruit aroma and taste. Great stuff.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Aroma of citrus and funky hops. Pours amber gold. Flavor is a moderate citrus and funky sweatsocks bitterness with some noticable toasty caramel malt, but just for balance. Finishes with a lingering dryness. It is very well balanced and easy drinking. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Apple and grapefruit flavor with a hoppy finish. Just the right amount of bitterness for a regular IPA. Nice. Feinschmecker (183), Seattle, Washington, USA

Copper-orange color. Strong hop aroma. A typical Northwest IPA. It is all about the Northwest hops. Its only failing is the lack of malt characteristic I look for in an IPA. This with a Indian curry would be great! GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2007 Draft. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was thick, creamy, and off white with good retention and lacing. The aroma was not as floral or citrusy as I had expected for a left coast IPA, but was ample. There was also a modest malty caramel note. Slightly sweet on the tongue with only mild hop bitterness. Again, not what I had expected. The malt-hop balance was equal with biscuity malt and light citrusy hop flavors. Overall, a non-offensive IPA that was very easy to drink.
