rayg1 (432), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA May 18, 2007 This beer wasn’t too bad. Pours out orange with a decent white head. Smell is a bit hoppy no citrus that I’m used to in these west coast IPA’s. Taste is clean and smooth with a nice punch of hops but not over the top at all. I will say that the slight buttery taste from the diacytel took away from it a bit. Still a good beer. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA May 12, 2007 Bottle which Garrett brought to my house last night. Thanks man. Pours out a orange color with a thick white head on it. Smell is slightly hoppy, with a touch of a butter note. Taste was smooth and rich, somewhat hoppy, but had a bit of diacytel in it. Not bad by any means, but I was expecting a PNW IPA, not an English style IPA. Id like to get a bottle that didnt have diacytel in it though. gogglegurf (9), Washington, USA does not count Apr 25, 2007 Great Hop Flavor start to finish. One of my favorites at the local pub. Medium body, nice texture. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA Apr 25, 2007 Bottle. Rich amber beer with a small off-white head. Citrus and earth aroma. Piny, biut grapefruit flavor with backing sweet caramel malt. Grapefruit lingers. Good bitterness. Medium body. goldtwins (4078), Nesconset, New York, USA Apr 25, 2007 Poured a clear golden color with a thin off-white head. The aroma was semi-sweet with malt and a mix of sweaty hops. The flavor was a mix of piney hops and sweet malt. Mild bitterness and a semi-dry finish. Medium bodied. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Apr 15, 2007 22 oz bottle shared with padrefan98. Aroams of citrus including pineapple off this hazy orange brew with a huge fluffy head that lasted forever. In fact, when I was done with the beer, there was still head in the glass. Can I get a spoon please.... Flavors were more hops with some grapefruit citrus taking the forefront. Pretty tasty.
padrefan98 (787), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA Apr 15, 2007 22 oz bottle thanks to dgarth. Pours a golden cloudy orange with a huge head that lasted the whole time. Good hop presence with tastes of grapefruit and pine. Very good. akaufman (16), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 12, 2007 Top tier brewery’s flagship brew. I especially enjoy the fact that it is so readily accessable
