The aroma of fruits and hop. It’s biter and sweet. The taste is dry bitter, fruity like citrus, with a little flowers. The aftertaste is bitter and a little dry. ben4321 (994), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma: Balanced citrus fruit nose
Appearance: Clear copper-orange color
Flavor: A nice smooth hoppy flavor
Palate: Light to medium in body
Overall Impression:
This is a pretty decent IPA, not the greatest beer I’ve ever tried, but a pretty darn good example of the style. I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

Not too complex, nor overwhelming or one-dimensional hop as many US brewers tend to do. This is balanced and easy going. Yet still flavourful. zach8270 (2085), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2009 (bottle - 22 oz) Lightly hazy amber pour with a white head. Aroma has some slight fruity notes along with some very nice and floral hops. Flavor begins with a citrusy and flowery taste, moving smoothly to a rather dry and very lightly bitter middle. Finishes dry and bitter, but not overpoweringly so. Snegurochka (69), Tromsø, Norway
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 6, 2009 Pint bottle bought at Pike Place Marked, Seattle and carried to Tromsø for the first superpower beer session 13.01.09. Yellow amber with at slight haze. Fruity aroma of apricots, pineapples and oranges. Rich in flavour, with a little sting in the finish. drjay44 (774), Salida, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 4, 2009 22 oz. bottle. Pours a thin white head with extensive lacing, over a clear coppery gold (SRM 10) body.....nose is grapefruit, pine, toffee.....taste initially is slightly sweet malts, with toffee, then hops arrive with pineapple, grapefruit, pine and a mild lingering bitterness....mouth feel is medium heavy, carbonation a little bigger than many. An IPA for sure, done with a slightly lighter hop hand then many from the "Left Coast". This is a bit more English in style, except that these are American hops we are tasting. dwyerpg (2529), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

After the other beers so far I expected a hoppier IPA. A nice hop finish, but in reality on par for a SoCal IPA. The avatar is more interesting. A nice bitter finish though. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, fruit - primarily peaches, hay, and dusty hops. Not that exciting.
