Nice amber/orange color, large white head that had a good hang time then faded slowly to leave a bit of a lcae behind. The aroma was citrusy with a bit of pine and plenty of hops coming through. The flavor was pretty decent as well with a nice malty side some faint sweetnes at first then it changes to a nice bitterness plenty of ctrus taste with a light piney note and a good bitter bite in the end.Pretty decent brew all around and well worth trying again.

From 22oz. bottle. Poured light burnish copper color with fluffy head that laced down the glass as I drank it. Unusual citrus, mandarin like aroma. Hop flavor is up front, citrus, almost boardering on catty. The Malt holds up and is sweetish in the finish. The sweet finish seems not only to be with the malt but has some hop component, too. There is a lot going on here. I swear I’ve tasted something like this before. Maybe it was an orange soda followed by a can of Schlitz with a carmel to follow. Interesting enough to be liked.

Draught at the Parkway Tavern Day of IPAs. Pours pale amber. Medium body, tastes sweet with a bittersweet oaky finish. Another unusual interpretation of the IPA style.

Draft at the Parkway’s Day of IPAs. Gold body, thin white head. No nose, still body. Sweet palate, some vanilla in there, even. Cloying finish. Good, despite the fact that it’s *not* refreshing; unusual if not unacceptable for an IPA.

12oz bottle pours golden copperish with a thin white head. Light floral and hoppy aromas. Flavors were citrussy and carmelly, with a lightly bitter finish.

Clear copper pour with a thin white head. Good aroma of floral and fruity hops. Good flavor of floral citrusy hops with a bitter finish. The mouthfeel is dry. A good PNW IPA.

22 oz Bottle: Clear copper with off-white, foamy, smaller head. It has aromas of strong tangerine and other floral essences. The taste is quite interesting. At first, you notice the strong bitterness similar to grapefruit rind which then moves to an earthy flavor of some sort and then later you start picking up sweet flavors like cheap, hard candy and mild perfume. These flavors remain through to the aftertaste. The carbonation seemed higher than average and the feel is full and creamy. Yummmmmm.

22 oz bottle. Average size dense head that dissipates quickly. Somewhat hazy blonde/amber color. Sweet/flowery aroma. Nice caramel malty hoppy taste. No bitter overly hopped aftertaste like I have experienced in some IPAs recently. I know some people like that, but I prefer a balance where at least taste some malt and SOME of the malt lingers in the aftertaste. Bitterweet instead of just bitter, and this one is a perfect balance i think, Nice. Very nice. The other IPAs went fully (after 3 drinks) or partially (after half the beer) down the drain tonight. Not this bomber. I am gonna finish this one :=)
